Did that with Mourinho and the cup final this is Postecoglou’s cup final Levy won’t make that mistake again although going into a big game knowing what I know now I’d have Mourinho in the dugout .

He's ridiculously thick. They could still play if their minutes are well managed, get a win, and elevate the confidence to play against Frankfurt. But now every game is like a possibility of getting players injured with his useless intensity that doesn't translate to chances.

If we are trailing against Southampton, he's gonna sub these players in and damage their confidence and fitness.

I don't buy this tbh. Lots of them have had lots of rest. Really they have. Lots of them didn't play internationals. Lots were injured for long periods.

What is happening is that they know they are part of something that doesn't make sense, and doesn't work and is losing them matches and confidence.
 
There 100% will be fans demanding he's kept on if we won the ropey league.
We could lose all 8 remaining PL games in utterly embarrassing fashion, but they will claim he's the greatest manager of all time because he won a cup. He'd have to have a statue with Ramos and the main in a raincoat.
 
That presser was a horrible watch. He is so dislikable now. Takes no responsibility for his own failings at all. Still thinks he is gods gift to football management.

I want us to win the Europa more than anything but it’s got to such a sad point that him being the manager would actually tarnish a trophy win.

He would make it all about him and how great he is. The reality would be he had a squad worth 10 times more than any of the remaining teams and we would have won it in spite of him, not because of him.

if we won it, really who cares. Guarantee you wouldn't give a frack about Ange, you'd be too delighted that we won a major European trophy again .

unfortunately it looks unlikely unless someone like son comes into some epic type of form and carries us across the finish line
 
Tbh Ange made the calls to Levy to sign Solanke and Johnson. Wasted 110m on them. Johnson can give benefit of doubt as still very young and can be developed but Solanke was a bad signing imo. He doesnt make things happen. No hold up play or bringing midfield or attack in play. Astonished really we paid 65m for him tbh. Levy will fire him once we get knocked out Europa imo.
