Think he realises that it's over for him at Tottenham.
He is coming out swinging now, but making himself look a bit of a prick.
Terrible appointment, rubbish football for the most part, will not be missed at all, fuck knows who comes in or, what they can achieve under the club.

Spurs fans expectations aren't any different than fans of any other team would have in the same circumstances. Postecoglou's remarks sound like he's latched onto a narrative to explain bad results in matches that haven't even been played. This sort of toxic attitude about fans can easily attach itself to the players, which is a good reason he should have been fired already regardless of the Europa League.

Has that feeling hes seeing season out. If he wins europa, thanks and here's a 5m pay off in return. League form though is a disgrace.

As if this started with Ange

Remember when we were in a title race to start Conte’s second season and Carragher decided it was “unsustainable “ and the fans would get upset if we didn’t attack more?

Then he just repeated it so many times that other media picked up on it until it became a reality?

Started way before that, the media was disrespecting us in the height of Prime Poch days, linking all our players with moves away from the club, linking Poch with moves to Utd.

I remember the massive discourse about how we weren't paying our players the 'going rate' in wages and it went on for months, not to mention the witch hunts against Kane for the goal he claimed and Alli for being dirty and diving.

We are a club that attracts over scrutiny and criticism whether we are good or shit.

The Dele witch hunt was especially egregious

Still never forgave Poch for buying into it.

They just hated that we had a player who came with the mentality that they were used to having at the big Sky clubs.

Agreed it has been appalling, we know that, there has been mitigating factors such as injuries, poor recruitment etc.
But he has had a good enough team to have done better and push for top six.
Injuries to an extent are probably out of his control, he could of done better with situations within his control such as, better defending and setting up properly against opponents on a game by game basis rather than, going out every game trying to play the same way but failing most weeks

He is toxic and by the time the last remaining Spartans have worked out how badly they've been played they will be despised by the wider fan body forever. I'm not kidding I never felt this level of dislike for other Spurs fans like I do these people. Postecoglou is nearly ad vile as Levy.

The one thing I’d say in his defence is that I’m pretty certain he might be well aware that he’s not up to the task he’s been charged with . A lot of us have experienced “ Imposter Syndrome “ when it’s unfounded.

To actually be in a job you know is to much for you ; with millions of highly involved people watching your every move must be a lot of people’s worst nightmare. ( It would be mine ) .

Understand why he doesn’t resign , no modern-day manager does ; but it must be hell on earth having to front up knowing that he’s come up short .

KK was honest ( when he somewhat emotionally) quit the England job ; and got flack for his actions.

AP has little choice but to soldier on and try to keep things going within his own mind and in terms of what he’s been asked to do .

The caveat would be that IF he genuinely thinks he’s been 100 % correct and it’s only a matter of time before his methods will be proved correct ( given the constraints, quality of opposition etc ) ; then frankly he’s a bit delusional. IMO .

Tbh I think his training methods and high octane style has injured players. Had same problem at celtic the injuries. He needs a squad of about 100 top players for his methods to work at elite level to cope with I injuries.

This for me has been the biggest disappointment of the Ange era. The abuse thrown by fans of the same team at each other has been disgusting, and for what? Having differing opinions....
Are we not able to intelligently put across arguments and counter arguments without throwing derogatory comments in there. We all support the same team at the end of the day.

I think we all 'used to', or hopefully still do, have that moment where we're somewhere random and we see someone in a Spurs shirt, and you think 'well done mate', like there's an invisible bond with someone you've never met. It feels like that bond is strained to its limits, on this forum anyway.

The sad thing is that it's not Anges fault, it's not Levy's fault, or Brennan's fault, or Romero, or anyone else that cops daily abuse on here.

It's our fault, the fans, the ones that sit at home churning out this vile shit day after day on here. Im not on other teams fan forums obviously, but are they the same? Or do we really have the most delusional, spiteful, fickle fanbase out there??

I'd agree if he was self aware enough not to have treated Djed Spence like shit. Resigned Werner then thrown him publicly to the dogs. Pushed out Eric Dier then brought the same player. Talked up the perfect window and claimed Levy's wage lowering was a squad "prepared for anything ." Said an array of things so stupid they make Sherwood look like Rinus Michaels, tried to pretend his brittleness was actually an attempt to single handedly save young people from online harm...fuck me imposter syndrome the blokes fucking Walter Mitty.

You’re quite right.

TBF to myself I did add a caveat (see above) .

But even if there’s a 1% chance he actually is aware ( by however a small or big margin) that the job’s a bridge too far for him : then he’s got no choice but to internalise his despair , try to sleep at night and front-up .

Hopefully the pressure of his current predicament will come to an end in a few months. And both parties can move on to other things.

I genuinely pity you.
Why is the opinion of others so important to you?
i'll answer for myself. it wasn't simply a different opinion, it's the attacks and gaslighting that went on for months. it's the ange outers who had a different opinion and were attacked for it. it's after months of being roundly mocked for daring to point out that it looked like ange has been figured out and maybe he should adjust that my extreme dislike of ange inners came from. fuck all you for playing the victim now.

WHAT A LOAD OF BOLLOCKS.
Why don't you and all the other Ange out obsessives who post dozens of the same posts every bleeding day just accept the fact that most Spurs fans just don't agree with you?

Most agree now. However back in October (which actually would of been the right time to get rid) this was an unpopular opinion and a big portion of the fanbase would tell us we don’t understand football or “don’t have the stomach for a rebuild” for pointing out this guy hasn’t got a fucking clue about managing a premier league team.

Simple question. Why did Nuno get sacked?
