Management Ange Postecoglou

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

He is toxic and by the time the last remaining Spartans have worked out how badly they've been played they will be despised by the wider fan body forever. I'm not kidding I never felt this level of dislike for other Spurs fans like I do these people. Postecoglou is nearly ad vile as Levy.

The one thing I’d say in his defence is that I’m pretty certain he might be well aware that he’s not up to the task he’s been charged with . A lot of us have experienced “ Imposter Syndrome “ when it’s unfounded.

To actually be in a job you know is to much for you ; with millions of highly involved people watching your every move must be a lot of people’s worst nightmare. ( It would be mine ) .

Understand why he doesn’t resign , no modern-day manager does ; but it must be hell on earth having to front up knowing that he’s come up short .

KK was honest ( when he somewhat emotionally) quit the England job ; and got flack for his actions.

AP has little choice but to soldier on and try to keep things going within his own mind and in terms of what he’s been asked to do .

The caveat would be that IF he genuinely thinks he’s been 100 % correct and it’s only a matter of time before his methods will be proved correct ( given the constraints, quality of opposition etc ) ; then frankly he’s a bit delusional. IMO .

Agreed it has been appalling, we know that, there has been mitigating factors such as injuries, poor recruitment etc.
But he has had a good enough team to have done better and push for top six.
Injuries to an extent are probably out of his control, he could of done better with situations within his control such as, better defending and setting up properly against opponents on a game by game basis rather than, going out every game trying to play the same way but failing most weeks
Tbh I think his training methods and high octane style has injured players. Had same problem at celtic the injuries. He needs a squad of about 100 top players for his methods to work at elite level to cope with I injuries.

This for me has been the biggest disappointment of the Ange era. The abuse thrown by fans of the same team at each other has been disgusting, and for what? Having differing opinions....
Are we not able to intelligently put across arguments and counter arguments without throwing derogatory comments in there. We all support the same team at the end of the day.

I think we all 'used to', or hopefully still do, have that moment where we're somewhere random and we see someone in a Spurs shirt, and you think 'well done mate', like there's an invisible bond with someone you've never met. It feels like that bond is strained to its limits, on this forum anyway.

The sad thing is that it's not Anges fault, it's not Levy's fault, or Brennan's fault, or Romero, or anyone else that cops daily abuse on here.

It's our fault, the fans, the ones that sit at home churning out this vile shit day after day on here. Im not on other teams fan forums obviously, but are they the same? Or do we really have the most delusional, spiteful, fickle fanbase out there??

I'd agree if he was self aware enough not to have treated Djed Spence like shit. Resigned Werner then thrown him publicly to the dogs. Pushed out Eric Dier then brought the same player. Talked up the perfect window and claimed Levy's wage lowering was a squad "prepared for anything ." Said an array of things so stupid they make Sherwood look like Rinus Michaels, tried to pretend his brittleness was actually an attempt to single handedly save young people from online harm...fuck me imposter syndrome the blokes fucking Walter Mitty.

You’re quite right.

TBF to myself I did add a caveat (see above) .

But even if there’s a 1% chance he actually is aware ( by however a small or big margin) that the job’s a bridge too far for him : then he’s got no choice but to internalise his despair , try to sleep at night and front-up .

Hopefully the pressure of his current predicament will come to an end in a few months. And both parties can move on to other things.

I genuinely pity you.
Why is the opinion of others so important to you?
i'll answer for myself. it wasn't simply a different opinion, it's the attacks and gaslighting that went on for months. it's the ange outers who had a different opinion and were attacked for it. it's after months of being roundly mocked for daring to point out that it looked like ange has been figured out and maybe he should adjust that my extreme dislike of ange inners came from. fuck all you for playing the victim now.

WHAT A LOAD OF BOLLOCKS.
Why don't you and all the other Ange out obsessives who post dozens of the same posts every bleeding day just accept the fact that most Spurs fans just don't agree with you?

Most agree now. However back in October (which actually would of been the right time to get rid) this was an unpopular opinion and a big portion of the fanbase would tell us we don’t understand football or “don’t have the stomach for a rebuild” for pointing out this guy hasn’t got a fucking clue about managing a premier league team.

Simple question. Why did Nuno get sacked?

"I came to this club with a clear purpose of rejuvenating a squad that was coming to the end of a cycle.
"I just think we're in that position that the good stuff we may do is going to be turned into a glass half full rhetoric and from that perspective I don't think that can be a driver in what we want to do. The lads are really keen to bring success to the club.
"I don't think you're going to win that argument of convincing people, well I think [someone] wrote that even if we win it, I'm gone anyway."

Oh fuck off already.

Seriously this one's vermin I do not read his crap it's been years. Weird don't cover him. Needy as fuck.

Ange talk about negative media is just a massive red herring. He’s had the media firmly up his arse for 2 years. The media love-in was unlike anything iv ever seen before when he first joined which was odd given he popped up out of nowhere and the media was already acting like he was a 5 time league title winner. There were songs about him and he had barely been at the club 5 minutes.

Since then he has been beyond appalling and the media still barely criticises him.

Wish he’d fuck off already. There is no agenda. You’re just shit and youve took us so far back we may never recover for years to come.

Nah. It’s the owner and the coaching team. They are letting the fans down and ripping them off for it.

They've already crossed the event horizon.

Stained forever.

They worship false idols, not this club.
You know I think you've actually crystallised this more succinctly than me. They are frauds end of, and generally in life I hate that more than anything else. They do not love the club. It's just a childish game of online edge lord BS for them. Whilst us the Nutters: Mrs P's me Murphy slap up and down the country pouring cash in. They have indelibly marked themselves.

Hindsight is always 20;20 .

The “ signs “ have been there for the past 15 months at least. I can actually understand why Levy wants to shed his tag of a shoot-from-the-hip chairman , especially mid-season.

It’s been tried too many times before.

Giving AP to the end of the season or when/if we exit Europa makes some kind of sense inasmuch as it might make it less likely for any potential successors as manager to be put off the gig .

We’re still in with a shot at getting something (very) significant this season ( for once ) . We shouldn’t be pissing on our chips quite yet . IMO .

I don't even know where to start with what he's written. He just wrong so I'm glad you went right to the heart of it. It's not costing the frauds here a penny to keep boosting the useless coach or greedy owners. If he thinks our fanbase is difficult he should meet some Roma Millan Gala Liverpool fans. These people don't actually care about the club.

i find it funny that it's the cultists that come running out of their holes to attack me for suggesting i don't want a cup with ange. like they're going to save face or something by calling me a shitty fan. as always, i try and listen to those who've been supporters far longer than me and if those folks say "no you're wrong a trophy means everything" i reflect on my opinion but fucking shittydan and soduko? get fucked
