This for me has been the biggest disappointment of the Ange era. The abuse thrown by fans of the same team at each other has been disgusting, and for what? Having differing opinions....
Are we not able to intelligently put across arguments and counter arguments without throwing derogatory comments in there. We all support the same team at the end of the day.

I think we all 'used to', or hopefully still do, have that moment where we're somewhere random and we see someone in a Spurs shirt, and you think 'well done mate', like there's an invisible bond with someone you've never met. It feels like that bond is strained to its limits, on this forum anyway.

The sad thing is that it's not Anges fault, it's not Levy's fault, or Brennan's fault, or Romero, or anyone else that cops daily abuse on here.

It's our fault, the fans, the ones that sit at home churning out this vile shit day after day on here. Im not on other teams fan forums obviously, but are they the same? Or do we really have the most delusional, spiteful, fickle fanbase out there??
I believe Levy hired Postecoglou, at least in part, because he believed Postecoglou would bring the fans together. A bigger than life guy who believed in the type football fans were asking for. That worked in the beginning and, while he was almost universally praised, he was that guy. Where Levy and the board made a mistake was not properly vetting Postecoglou and thinking through his history of building such a strong following and then considering himself above criticism.

Ange Postecoglou: General sentiment is I'm gone even if Spurs win Europa League

Ange Postecoglou remains determined to navigate his latest struggle and lead Tottenham to Europa League success, but acknowledged the "general sentiment" is he will not be in charge next season

I only played sunday league in england for 1 year. I know spain the best and my local village has a top pitch and loads of teams from all ages. Scotland couldn’t be further from that. I played left wing back for them but I was a hard bastard and got a lot of cards. My uncle was a pro footballer who played for blackpool and norwich and youth for man utd until injuries ruined his career. He always said find out your opponent. So right winger in my case. And lay into them hard in the first 10 mins. It will mess them up
An elbow to the throat or a stamp.

Our run in is now absolutely brutal- I don't think we'll have a single free hit against a disinterested team except maybe Palace. And maybe we're the disinterested team with nothing to play for :(

Wolves (A)
Forest (H)
Pool (A)
Spam (A)
Palace (H)
Villa (A)
BHA (H)

I give us 1-2-4 out of the remaining games.
4/6 one way or the other from Palace/BHA, and a point against either Wolves away or Forest home. 42 points and prob 14th place- can't see us catching Brentford. Maybe we can pull ahead of Utd. Good chance Spam overtake us.

Despite everything, the record books will say

19/20 Season 1 - 6th placed finish - fans begin to turn against style of play
20/21 Season 2 - 7th placed finish - fans stop watching
21/22 Season 1 - 4th placed finish - fans continue to bemoan brand of football and switch off
22/23 Season 2 - 8th placed finish - manager burns club to the ground
23/24 Season 1 - 5th placed finish - manager lorded for playing style
24/25 Season 2 - ? placed finish - fans burn club to the ground

Will be interesting to see if there is any interest in him when he leaves in the summer. In the first half of his first season he was name dropped as a potential replacement for Pep and Klopp.

He could always go back to Celtic, but other than that, hard to see where he could land up

Based on how he’s acting and what he’s saying right now, I wouldn’t be surprised if he takes a long break.

He spends far too much time on the internet reading what people say about him.

We’re on course for twenty league losses I feel, which is insane quite frankly. Yet there’s still people in other threads saying there isn’t any manager in the world who could have us any higher in the league because the players are so bad.

This bloke should genuinely be studied for science.

The thing is that the EL and the PL run in will have a huge bearing on how AP is judged. He reached for “injuries” and then “refs” as reasons his team was losing. Now he has few injuries. Crying “refs” just makes him out to be a deranged whinger

If he wins the EL then I genuinely think he starts next season. And tbh I’d take a couple of months of him next season as a price worth paying for the EL

But I think Frankfurt will beat us

And the PL run in will remove any doubt that he is the problem

Hope im wrong

People need to be able to divide Ange the man from Ange the manager.

The points he's made in the last couple of press conferences are absolutely true, and something most of us have called out before, but people are ignoring that and using it as a stick to bash him with. He's actually sticking up for the club and calling out the media for bashing the club every week.

He's not the best manager in the world, and he will likely be gone in the summer (although if he wins the Europa he should be kept on IMO) - But he actually cares about the club and what people make of it.
