Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

This season shows he got found out.

We were dreadful end of last season with one game a week and no injuries. Lost every single game practically. Everyone called that a bad patch.

We started this season off badly with a slow schedule at the start and a few injuries. Palace and Ipswich losses were with strong, fit teams.

Everything else is just nonsense excuses - the schedules, injuries, whatever. Of course they exacerbated existing issues and we wouldn’t be 15th with one game a week and no injuries, but we’d still be rubbish.

His first season was no different to Ten Haag having a good first season with Utd. Ange got found out as one dimensional and too many sides find us easy to exploit. So we lose a lot.

His system is too fragile for sure.

We lose every game after EL no matter who is fit.

I don't really think it's fair for Ange to criticise the fans. He's had plenty of backing from them, myself included up until a couple of months ago. Most Spurs fans wanted him to work but his tactics clearly have failed. 17 League defeats in a season is truly horrific and not acceptable for a club which should be top 6 at least.

Ange could have handles scenarios better to keep the support of the fans i.e the Man City match last season where his comments were not great. The Chelsea match with the cupping of the ear is pathetic.

He's used every excuse in the book regarding our poor form and yes the injuries have had an impact but since we have got our players back we have got worse. Every game we go into we look like losing.

Ange has had plenty of opportunities but it hasn't worked, he needs to accept that and take more responsibility rather than blaming everyone else for his own failures.

Imagine if he'd done to Celtic what he's done to us. Do these fake rumour twatter tits think they'd be any less forgiving.

How about starting up X rumours that Ange feels so distraught for the current state of affairs he's helped bring about that he is going to resign and live a hermitic life in shame in the cramped, hot loft of a fake Barrets two bedroom show home in Luton for a year once the season's finished.

This fanbase is horrible this much is true, still not a patch on Chelsea's fanbase.

Honestly, we have some wet wipes who piss and moan on the internet but the match going fans were singing his name much longer than they would have been had he got it this wrong at any other club,

If he ends up on the continent where they still have real ultras, then he will see real toxicity when they start vandalizing his car or sending him things in the post when the team is playing shit.

At Spurs you get amazing pay, incredible working environments and very little pressure from above to perform. If anything it’s too cushy.

Breaking News:

Secret documents reveal Ange was just moments away from joining competitors before Tottenham pounced.

Commenting on this Ange said:

“If it wasn’t for Tottenham and Daniel Levy, It could have all been very different . I mean there are only so many shite leagues in the world you can go. I had good offers from Iraq, Yemen and Somalia but once the call from Spurs came in, I had to do some serious thinking.

The Mrs and I spent a lot of time researching the availability of Vegemite and bad fitting black suits in those countries and it wasn’t looking good. Luckily for us Tottenham High Road helped make our decision.

Once I’m done at Spurs, I do think I’d like a shot at the Yemeni Pro League.”

I can only speak for myself, but I don’t expect to win trophies - you have to earn things - but it would be nice to have something to crow about.we used to be a football club that won things.

In recent years we have become known for being in the champions league, fighting in and around that 4th place. I don’t think anyone really expects to win the league. Challenging for Europe, playing good, entertaining football and actually having a go. That’s what I’d like to see, perhaps with a little more glory at the end.

What we are being served up - for the prices, and promises of a “game changing stadium” is why I think we are all fucked off.

That’s the fault of BOTH Levy and Ange for different reasons.

Finally we have an answer ! It’s nothing to do with clueless tactics , half arsed players & being a side hustle for an entertainment complex , it’s the fans fault

Yes the notoriously present Man City fanbase that always fill out their stadium that are the reason for their success, not the vast amounts of money and Pep as coach. It’s fat Dave in row 22 shouting abuse at Man United that won them four titles in a row.

People like that need their phones and internet removed.

Which doesn't make sense when you think of his approach, he can't use the excuse that we didn't have enough time to prepare for the specific opponent, because he doesn't do that anyway.

He could argue that it's purely down to fatigue, but that doesn't excuse it happening every single time. If that is the reason, then the fault lies with his lack of adequate rotation, and using a system so ineffective that it relies on players playing their balls out at 100% for full 90 minute stretches, and even then, not being good enough to win matches comfortably.

How many of our ex-players have anything good to say about the club? How many are Spurs 4 life, even after leaving? Bale always joked about his time at Spurs. Kane has barely muttered a word of support. Crouch considers himself Liverpool.

Meanwhile, you can't move for ex Chelsea, Liverpool, Woolwich, United players gushing over their former clubs.

Spurs still parade Ozzie and King around ffs.

If the players don't love the club, they aren't going to give all for the club.
VDV, Jan. There are a few more. Bale even came back (fucking covid...) and still has respect. Jenas once had tears of joy while commentating.

Liverpool can have Crouch, he was fucking shit for us.
As for parading Ledders around, has his career really been over that long? Is he some relic of yesteryear now? Many of our more recent players are either still playing or making their way into management. We were such a joke to Bale but he came back on loan to have his best season in a number of years, whilst clearly still feeling affinity for the fans (and vice versa)?
In response to the part about ex-players being "fully Spurs", Lennon and Defoe have both made very complimentary comments about the club in interviews, Dawson is always fair with his assessment of us on TV but never goes in on us, clearly holds a special place in his heart. Who is it you are so put out by because they haven't given us a mention? Stambouli?

I must have missed the "changing of the guard" of fans when all the people behind the team when we finished 2nd in 2017 and reached a CL final in 2019 stopped supporting the club and we got this new batch of ultra toxic fans who aren't happy to watch us get humped by the likes of Wolves, Leicester, Ipswich, Fulham and Bournemouth.
