Management Ange Postecoglou

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

At times he can have us playing stellar attacking footballer. But at this point I just cannot enjoy it knowing that there's no defensive structure behind it to fall back on. Or any structure for that matter.

well you Ange inners and the flip-floppers have what you wanted He is still here
You seem to think winning the EL yet losing each game in the EPL is ok or can be done, Well winning the EL isn't easy we have to win atleast 2 matches, you think because we play some unknown team we will win,WELL they are in semi on merit not by lucky, and the final is either Man u or Bilbao both of these are no mugs
We could & should have sacked him in international break and got in a real coach for remained of season
Don’t forget they are managed by Kjetil Knutson one of the most underrated managers in Europe.

United is in a similar position to us but Amorim used the game against Wolves to play some youngsters where Fredricson in particular played great by the sound of things. Why can't we do anything remotely similar? Why is Gray not getting any minutes at his best position? Why is a barely fit Maddison getting a spot on the bench ahead of Moore? We're losing anyway so why not do it by giving some players meaningful minutes? What do we gain by seeing the likes of Sarr and Johnson yet again?

It is pretty clear that Ange is not a fan of playing youth players unless he 100% has to.

Archie, Bergvall and Odobert are exceptions because they came in as established first team players at their old clubs. And even then Archie has fallen to the side as more senior options have come back.

That Milesy the “interview” chap from the club….

He is the absolute epitome of the mentality that puts this club in the sorry state it’s in.

Always an excuse, always a “we tried though…eh?” I honestly think we could lose 25-0 to Liverpool next week and he would start with “our white shirts looked lovely in the sunshine though Ange, and that’s the real win isn’t it”.

Muppet.

United is in similar position to us and is signing Osimhen and Cunha to bolster their attack.

that's kind been our mentality for so long apart from the small slice under poch. Especially away from home, growing not getting thrashed by one of the bigger clubs seemed respectable. loose to man united 1 or 2 nil, good effort etc,
It's just now the club is so big and wealthy it's just an extra utter disgrace of were we are now in the league, and the lack of success post stadium move.

massive game changer indeed Levy

It’s why these players (and those before them) don’t feel any pressure to perform. You get a big contract here, you play premier league, and then the choice is yours: play well and try your best and serious football club will come and pick you up in a year or two, or, just meander through collecting a wage packet - you get noticed because you play for a historic, well known club (I’m not using the word big as it doesn’t fit) but there’s no actual pressure on you to achieve anything, it doesn’t matter if you win or lose and at the end of the day if you make a semi you get a new watch… just absolute mediocrity from top to bottom.

This is why we never have players like Chiellini, Ramos, Keane etc, I k ow those players don’t exist so much these days, not in the same vein anyway, but those “win at all costs” players don’t come here, because we don’t want to win, we more simply don’t mind losing.

I'd actually be interested in giving Kjetil a go here.

While untested in a top five domestic league, his European record is very very good. There's a reason that he's consistently being linked to PL jobs.
The issue with this is that as soon as he loses 3-4 games in a short period, the same fans will be calling out his inexperience and how he's never managed in a top league, that we took a cheap option and how Conte was shafted.

The same old crap being said because a portion of the fan base want to be right all the time, even if it's a the expense of the team winning.

BODO are a really well coached side, far greater than the sum of their individual parts. Unless some of our ‘stars’ have great individual moments we are going to struggle badly playing this football against them.

They will sit back and leave no gaps for us and happily wait for the huge gaps in our defence to appear.

I just wish we’d sack Ange today and get anyone else in to give us the change in style and a new manager bounce that we need asap.
