Have to say, baring our relegation in the 70's that this is the worst league performance I've witnessed.
After Conte muri it was never to be a smooth transition, changing our style of play was never going to be an easy ride..that aligned with lady luck not smiling on us injury wise. Has made it a tough watch
Ultimately, I still think that the first team fully MATCH FIT is really decent and could challenge most and the plus from the injuries, is many hav got more minutes than they would have expected and pushed their development on. And arguably strengthening our squad depth
.I'm of the opinion that constantly sacking/changing managers isn't the answer.. contrary to many ignorant fans opinions, these guys ALL are trained and have eufa badges and if you know about, that it means they understand formations and changing them and all that that entails.. what is needed as per nearly ALL the successful clubs is a period of managerial stability. So for me getting rid of the manager isn't the answer
Saying that all managers accept that, unfortunately the prem is terminally a results unit and fans anger and ignorance to a large degree swayed by the media and social media .. so I'm with the manager and don't see him as an issue...

Managers only last because they are successful . If every club kept their manager for five years, someone would win the league and 3 would get relegated . We are not keeping Ange…end of story.

Must be harry7 brother

We didn't get 5th last season because of a fluke. We did very well to deal with the loss of Kane, and then suffered injuries to key players. We had to play Royal/Davies at CB FFS, and had no fit striker for much of the season.

The club keeps leaving the squad woefully short of experienced players. Holjberg was an excellent experienced player to bring on late in games to organise the team - and for whatever reason he left for nothing, to be replaced by 2 X 18 years with zero experience at this level.

I don't disagree that this season has been a major fuck up across the board. Recruitment, coaching, medical, players, but the blaim doesn't lay with a single person - it's a combination of all of those things.

Can the existing staff learn from this and improve? Or do we need to throw everything away and start again? Changing 1 part of the jigsaw achieves nothing new.
Throw what away !

Ange's biggest mistake was stubborn complacency. Throughout our persistent injury crisis he continued to double down on, "I'll do it my way", rather than battening down the hatches, making us hard to score against and building slowly from there, as & when possible. It's why we're currently 17th.
His cavalier, gung-ho, swashbuckling approach has failed in the league, but he stubbornly refused to adapt until it was way too late (and to be honest, it's still not working). By & large it has worked against weaker European teams, on a one-off basis, but it won't work against Utd on Wednesday.

Stubbornness has cost him his job. Fingers crossed it doesn't cost us a trophy.
Tbh I’ve very rarely seen the gung ho swashbuckling football in two seasons. It’s a myth. Most of the time where we have had the ball we’ve done f all. It’s only when get some transitions we do well. Or we have like a10/15 min hot spell.
