Management Ange Postecoglou

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

However you feel about Ange, him saying he always wins something in his second year, and then getting it thrown back in his face all season long, over and over, by journos, opposing fans, OUR fans... and then actually doing it, has got to be one of the best all time flexes in sports history. Up there with Ruth calling his shot, Joe Namath guaranteeing the SB win, etc.

The only way i can see it is if, sometime in Feb or March, Ange and Levy had a meeting where Ange got the green light to 100% focus on the Europa.

Doesnt excuse the league form but if Levy agreed in some part to the Europa win being above all else then perhaps we may still see him here next season - cant see it myself but who knows
I’d suggest that meeting was very likely to have happened and it would explain why the axe didn’t fall already.

I openly said I’m biased, but I’m a Spurs fan first (and have met many of the members of this forum in person years before he was our manager), and an Ange fan second.

if you can genuinely say to yourself that you felt the team accomplished more after 2019 than last night, then fair fucks. I would personally say that’s a loser mentality, but I guess that’s just my wrong opinion.

Except that everything the one player who played in both finals for us has said disagrees with your opinion.
2019 was better.

Boasting is very different from accurate predicting...he's still full of sh!t imo

Bill Nicholson saying we'd do the double

Europa League is far above the League Cup.

That's not up for debate, frankly. Anyone who wants to talk down our achievement last night can fuck themselves with a rusty poker and get the fuck off this forum.

I am not joining in on the more brutal aspect of your post, but the rest, 100%.

Why say or allege to support the club if you can't enjoy moments like Wednesday?

The stuff of memories.

Who said I didn’t enjoy it? I enjoyed it- but I have kept it in perspective.

It felt great telling the Woolwich fans at the bar last night that I look forward to seeing them in CL next year- really pissed them all off.
