Levy's still in charge so it might be another decade+ before we see anything like this again. But right this very minute, if I was sat next to Daniel in a Costa, I'd buy him a large latte and give him a hug because he held on to Ange when myself and a great many others called for him to go and we've won the Europa as a consequence. It was a seemingly insane coin toss given everything else that was happening that paid off. And we've all won: the players, the staff, Ange, us the fans and Levy himself. Almost a quarter of a million fans lining the streets to celebrate. Spurs are winners again.

The EPL performance this season wasn’t just ‘not good enough’. It was an absolute shambles mostly that could’ve ended disastrously.
But, maybe we did need that focus to get the trophy monkey off our backs. Maybe the squad did need to really feel what it is like to win.
Maybe Ange has developed as well. I’m not convinced and if the board identify a genuinely better proposition they should take it.
