He’s very fucking handy when it comes to selling the club for recruitment. It was his phone call that sold this club to Van de Ven…. Imagine we are going after an Eze or Xavi Simons. Several times Ange calls persuaded players to come here instead of Frank and Brentford. Bergvall would probably be a Brentford player if we had Frank and they had Ange.

Yeah its either the immense charms of Ange or its the much higher wages and significantly bigger club.

Frank won’t wins the title. But would make us constantly finish between 3rd and 6th
To some extent I think being tactically astute and having good game management (two things I think Frank definitely does well) is all you can really ask for from a manager in terms of team performance, motivation does come into it a lot but by all accounts he is also a fantastic man motivator. The rest of the difference between 6th, 3rd and 1st is squad assembly. Make no mistake without superstar buys Van Dijk and Alisson and astute purchases like Salah, Firmino, Mane, Klopp does fuck all with Liverpool. I think there's nothing to say Frank can't go the same route as Poch but get luckier at the final hurdle stage because we don't need to fuck the transfer market off for 2 seasons while we pay for the stadium this time around. It's impossible to say what Frank's ceiling is and anyone writing him off and saying he's not a sexy enough name must have a fucking short memory about the last couple of sexy names we brought in.

Doesn't sit right with me sacking a bloke after he delivered us our best moment in over 40 years.

But what will be worse if he is kept on until November and we are then languishing bottom half and then everyone is giving him shit. If he goes now with some decency it will be better than later in the year. However, I'm still not certain sacking him for some managers mentioned will be enough PR wise for most fans. Eg. Frank who I like as a manager doesnt exactly get the pulses racing. I think Inzaghi or Poch is who it has to be and if they cant get them they will keep him until the November scenario unfolds.

13th, 9th, 16th & 10th. Cups zero.

5th,17th and Europa League.

Can’t see the clear upgrade as yet mate. Sorry.

Possibly he has more to offer, tactically, but then Tim Der Wood also had that advantage.

The risk with Frank has to be similar to Nuno, he holds little advantage in the dressing rooms.
you cant be serious when you're comparing his results with brentford directly to spurs? are spurs and brentford on the same level?

Him leaving now is also the best thing for his career.. A couple months ago his career at the top level was done. No one in the top 5 leagues would have looked at him. And my feeling is that he'd be back there by October if he stays..

Now.. After just 90 minutes of football. His reputation is a little shinier. Someone would go for him.

Maddison said Ange call was the reason he chose us over Newcastle. They were offering bigger wages.

Tel was the same. That was nothing to do with wages

Barca would have been offering Bergvall bigger wages.

It’s pretty much indisputable that Ange is outstanding and recruitment phone calls.

Frank has never managed a team competing in europa or champions league. Has never managed a high performing team, and has no experience of being a winner. He plays long ball football, which is onlt really good enough to get you on the cusp of top half.

What makes you think he would succeed at Spurs ???

Ultimately the Europa Leage was a magnificent achievement, but we won’t have a trophy that’s not blocked off by the likes of City, Liverpool, Chelsea, and the Scum next season.

He’s shown no signs of building a side that can cause the likes of them consistent problems in two years, whilst we’ve also become powder puff easy to ruffle for various middling teams too.

I’d be fine with him getting the third season, but I really don’t have any faith that the holes in his football can be solved.
