because he's a thin skinned asshole. it's not that hard to understand. and once again you and your ilk have to resort to personal attacks and insults. also not hard to see why you like ange so much.

If you can retain just a few more seconds of memory to recall my previous posts you replied to, and if you’d like, all the ones before that.

There are no personal insults.

I simply flipped your insults below, back at you.

sorry i don't engage in magical thinking hypotheticals that you lot love to trot out. i'll cross the two trophies bridge next year when it happens. i will tell you, i'll still think he's an absolute cunt of a man.

Do you not even see the irony of calling someone an ‘asshole’ and a ‘cunt of a man’, followed by ‘you and your ilk have to resort to personal attacks and insults’.

Fuck me, there’s some stupid cunts on here, that gaslighting fraud is the worst manager I have seen at this club, always talking about a winning mentality and then loosing a record number of games, you couldn’t make it up.

The really sad thing is the lowering of expectations, I can’t remember the last time I went to a game expecting us to win because ‘that’s who we are mate!’ A soft touch with a manger so fixed to a way of playing that has been totally found out and negated

I’m grateful for the trophy but I wish he would now kindly fuck off and leave the job to someone who at least looks like the know what they are doing

Lol...

That's one of many similar posts in the last 15 pages from the usual suspects. there's even one guy who is so disgusted at finishing 17th he shits on the idea of winning Champion's League trophies.

you people man... :roflmao:
For a start, don't "you people man" me, pal.

Instead of looking for a fight or comparing me with someone who shits on the CL, maybe you actually should read my posts and try & understand my rationale. But maybe balanced views aren't your thing.

Genuinely worried if we sack him these we wipe fans gonna be baying for blood for the next man who has to pick up this mess.

Whoever comes in, is going to get a raw deal from these Ange fanboys.

It's like we have to keep him, just to throw away next season to show that he's even more out of his depth.

17th or 6th - what's the difference? £33.4 million is the difference or 2 NFL games and 1 Beyonce concert... but what 6th didn't get you is the opportunity to play Champions League football by winning the Europa League but I'm guessing 6th, no trophy and Europa League qualification is you're preferred option. With our depleted squad, Ange made a decision. He felt that we couldn't fight on all fronts so he cut his cloth and it paid off. I saw someone, maybe it was you argue that Newcastle did both. Won a trophy and finished in the Champions League place. They did do exactly that, but they did it without having to play European football so they had no tough decisions to make on what to sacrifice so it's not a true reflection. Look at the year before... Newcastle played Champions League and finished bottom of their group, finished 7th in the league and didn't make it past the QF of both domestic cups largely due to the fact Eddie Howe tried to prioritise the Champions League but by doing them, their early league form suffered. My guess is that you think that is a good season.
6th to 17th, the difference is being pretty good to just plain sucking. They made the right decision to concentrate on Europa, but the league form was still inexcusable. Howe would never have done so badly.

Watch the Amazon documentary for a refresher if you want to remember.

Under Conte we had serious injury problems, Richy being the chief example. Ange didn't create Richy's chronic injury problems.

Poch = loads of injuries, especially at the start. He had them at Chelsea too btw. This has been discussed.
It's just invented reality at this point. Decided to dig into that claim and do some fact checking.
The only evidence I've found on transfermarkt of injuries to every squad player in 2014/15 (Poch's first season, fair to say "the start) are; Bentaleb (Ankle) Walker (surgery from a pre-season injury) Davies (shoulder) Mason (Hamstring) Lamela (Calf) Lloris (knee). All of those were short lay-offs bar Walker but hardly seems fair to pin that on Poch, and oh! look! Only 2 muscular injuries! In fact Lamela's best period of availability for Tottenham Hotspur after his cursed first season were Poch's first two seasons.

Can you tell me with a straight face that 6 injuries over the course of an entire season amounts to "loads"? Who have you been discussing this with? The ministry of utter bollocks?

So....what IF

Ange was instructed - get champions league football - at ALL costs.

ANGE - Hold my beer, i'll get you a trophy too mate.

If the club weren't happy with league results, they would have made a change in Jan. They knew Ange was a winner, and he guaranteed success.

My money is on Ange being at City by the end of summer. We should be offering him a massive contract to stay not sacking him!!

I guarantee, Ange will be lifting the champions league title in the next couple of years, hopefully with Spurs

no insults but you flipped insults back at me? and i'm attacking ange and not you. do you understand the difference? that's been the problem since his hiring. you guys take criticisms about him personally and then attack back personally.

Yeah i know what you mean but i liked and actually felt a bit sorry for the likes of Ardiles Gross and Nuno who were decent men doing their best but for no fault of their own just a bit out of their depth.
He's the mother-load a human male so manifestly flawed and unlikeable I don't actually blame everything on Levy. Genuinely thought that was impossible with his other victims even blokes as odious as Jose and Conte, I kind shrugged and went Levy what you gonna do. But this bloke and the effect he has on the feeble minded is just toxic. I will rejoice when he is finally part of the past. And yes if that means risking his fabled magical season three so be it. I won't risk a season ticket whilst he's still incumbent.

Not sure why, the Ange fanboys have been braying that even someone who ended his second year with us in 17th place and earns 1 ppg over 2 seasons just needs more time, and we have to be patient.

It would only follow that they ought to be willing to give a new manager the start of a third season in order to have plenty of time to right the ship.

100% agree with you , my worry is even if Ange isn’t the one , if we appoint Frank we are going back to just wanting Top 4 on minimum spend , like you say we are a rich club ,
We shouldn’t be going for top 4 , we should be going to win the league.
Wasn't having a go, my man. You're one of the posters I respect the most, even though we sometimes disagree (maybe a bit more often of late 😆).

I think that's the key thing, really...taking into consideration our finances & history (ancient & recent), as well as the strength of our rivals and other internal & external factors...what is actually realistic for Spurs to achieve year in year out and over a 10-year period, what does a successful season for Spurs look like, what should our true ambition be? We've won two league titles in 140+ years and the last one was donkeys' years ago...so though we finished 2nd & 3rd not that long ago, can we really expect to challenge for the PL, especiall every year? And that's before you factor in Liverpool, City & co.

Obviously not saying I got the answer, but as far as I'm concerned, all things considered...I'd be happy with us getting top 4-5 finishes every year, with the odd (say once a decade...twice at a push) title win when the stars align. Also, I'd love to see us win more domestic cups, well the FA Cup (fuck that Carabao shite)...we really should be winning it at least twice per decade. Reaching the CL last 16/quarters should also be a given most seasons and for the years we're in the Europa, we should be the English Sevilla, able to win it once or even twice per 10-year stretch.

Maybe I'm asking too much, maybe I ain't asking enough. Be interesting to hear your thoughts. But that's where I'm at as a fan of the 9th richest club in the world, one that has a glorious past and plenty trophies in the cabinet, with the best stadium, most expensive ST, highest paid chairman etc etc.
