You can’t with a straight face accuse others of avoiding all context in one breath, and then in the next immediately avoid all context yourself by calling last season one of the worst seasons in nearly 100 years.

Context: despite finishing 17th and losing 22 games, Spurs won a major European trophy and qualified for the Champions League. Was last season worse than the season before Postecoglou arrived, finishing 8th whilst winning nothing and failing to qualify for Europe?

Trophy + Europe vs No trophy and no Europe. You know, context?
I said "league seasons" for a reason.

My thoughts...

- Deal agreed with Frank
- Waiting for him and Ange to both get back from holiday
- Brentford speaking with replacements
- Romano will tweet something out by the weekend
- Announcements made by both Spurs and Brentford Monday / Tuesday next week.

Shame they didn’t post the full video that was more balanced.

The quote Goldstein repeats at the start of this video is absolutely bang on!

Absolutely. I thought and still think Amge should go.

But, and here is the rub. I am not and haven't been someone banging on about trophies being the only thing that matters for years on years and taking every opportunity to shit on the club for not prioritising silverware.

Others have. And they are the ones still slagging off the club and manager every opportunity they get.

This isn't about Ange. Its about people being fans of their own opinions and slagging off the club, the players. The owners every single chance they get no matter how hyperbolic or contradictory they are being.

Another example... the amount of people that have been simultaneously shitting on the manager for being terrible at managing yet somehow also shitting on players for being shit.... at least give concession in one direction

Finally a somewhat sensible and rational post in this thread. Reckon you're either bang on or at least not far off.

I bet nothing has been decided yet. Honestly levy is the most reactive chairman in the league. He won’t have made his mind up on this I bet. I reckon we’ve got a good week left to run before we know what’s going on. I’m relaxed about it, nothin will change until they’ve gone. It will just be more chaos and bad decisions. We just have to live through it I’m afraid.

I do think that there was a decision made before the final. But once Ange won and he went on his little media tour it kinda painted Levy into a corner.
