I think they're still deciding his future which is why we've not heard much today

They can’t be. It’s not that hard. Either you genuinely believe him in as a coach or you don’t. Frankly they should have known before the final, if they changed their mind based on that 90 minutes of garbage then we have very worrying people in charge.

Either they’re waiting for the right time to make the announcement that he’s staying or vice versa. I can’t imagine there is still deliberating going on, this is not a complex call.

I do think that there was a decision made before the final. But once Ange won and he went on his little media tour it kinda painted Levy into a corner.

Most likely. Now they don’t know what to do so will let it drift until they are forced into a decision. They have until the start of preseason to decide will be in their thinking. We have to remember these people don’t know how to run a football club to the best of its ability on the pitch.

I still think he stays now just because they are scared to act.

If he is gone, Ange certainly isn’t aware

Opinion on Frank? I know you'll see him as a massive upgrade on Ange but do you think he's a good fit for us?

He’d not be my first choice but I think he’s an intelligent bloke who is an adaptive coach and will probably get us looking a lot more effective in the premier league.

Neither inspired nor outraged is the simple answer. He’s a good coach but might not be right for a club our size. I don’t think he’s quite Nuno part 2 but it does have some similarities.

Again though, I’ve always quite liked him .. he comes across really well in interviews especially imo.

The only thing that could possibly keep Postecoglou in the job is everyone else they approach saying no thankyou. You'll be pleased to hear they haven't got down to me yet, because I'll say yes. Anyone here been approached? If nobody answers I'll assume it's NDA's.

Ange was gone 24 hours after the Final if we lost. Now we won I think Levy is just waiting so it's not too close to the Final and joy of the win before bringing the mood back down. Surely he can't back someone who managed us into the worst team in the prem that didn't get relegated.

It's a tough decision whichever way you look at it . I missed only 5 games last season home and away . I can tell everyone how soul destroying it is to travel to Newcastle , Liverpool , Everton and Manchester - a lot of them are evening games and they shut a lot of the roads on the way home making the journey home 6+hours I could go on and on , but the players don't give their all for the shirt because they have no leadership from Ange . We need a manager that will tweak the game whilst they are playing . Not stand there with his arms folded or with his hands in his pockets . It's expensive to travel all over England , I know we get away tickets cheap , but that doesn't excuse the poor performances . Even the home performances were becoming Dire . I've renewed my season ticket early for one reason and that is - if I left it any longer I'd be more and more tempted not to renew for the reasons above .

As much as Ange has exorcised the demon and we have won our first European trophy for 41 years , he's also returned us the worst league points tally in the same period . We can't have another season like the last in PL . We're about £80mil better off this season financially because of the CL money - that would get an elite player or 2 for us . We need to sell some players and bring in better players that can perform at CL level . We've had a Captain and 2 vice captains on the pitch 1 in each section - Defence , midfield and attack . What we need more than anything is to get on top of all the injuries . How many Hamstring injuries have we had in the last 2 seasons ? it's ridiculous . Above all that we need to have a manager in the dugout that can react to the oppositions tactical changes mid game . Ange isn't that guy going forwards - 2 seasons have shown us that . But who's the right Manager to deliver what we need ? I wanted a young manager before Ange came and I was looking at a "Poch" type manager - Young with a fresh philosophy and a good tactician a bit like Enrique has been at PSG . Maybe Francesco Farioli could fit the bill , but I'm not 100% sure as his side had a bit of a mini collapse towards the end of last season . Although Ajax technical director Alex Kroes said, "despite missing out on the title, the club had achieved its aim of qualifying for the Champions League under Farioli" and found his departure "incredibly disappointing . Francesco Farioli also played a key role in enhancing the high-performance culture at Ajax . Something we'll need in the high tempo Premier League .

If I could be sure that the league situation was a one-off, then I think he should be given another season. The EL victory gave us such a lift that it's hard to dismiss it. But whatever the decision is, it needs to be announced quickly, as all the speculation is not good for anyone.

agree, need a modern manager. to be fair, to ask for a manager that can adapt and have more than one way of playing is a bit of s stretch to call them modern! thats what 'managing' should be all about! the games evolved a lot in the last few decades, if we dont have a manager whos up to date with the game then weve got fucking no chance!

because he's a thin skinned asshole. it's not that hard to understand. and once again you and your ilk have to resort to personal attacks and insults. also not hard to see why you like ange so much.
So at the start of Ange’s reign his personality was “a breath of fresh air” and comments like “he doesn’t take shit from the journos” or “finally a manager who sticks up for the club” were common around here.
But now he’s a cunt???
And as for personal attacks Harry, pot meet kettle.

I think the powers that be made their minds up to get rid, weeks possibly months before The EL final. What winning it has done is by him a "respectful delay" before it is announced.
Point! THFC.... We have deliberated long and hard and come to the difficult decision (not) to start a new chapter for the 25/26 EPL campaign, (highlighting the league bit), without Ange! We thank him for bringing the long awaited glory of silverware to our great club and wish him well for the future. Or something along those lines?

Absolutely. I thought and still think Amge should go.

But, and here is the rub. I am not and haven't been someone banging on about trophies being the only thing that matters for years on years and taking every opportunity to shit on the club for not prioritising silverware.

Others have. And they are the ones still slagging off the club and manager every opportunity they get.

This isn't about Ange. Its about people being fans of their own opinions and slagging off the club, the players. The owners every single chance they get no matter how hyperbolic or contradictory they are being.

Another example... the amount of people that have been simultaneously shitting on the manager for being terrible at managing yet somehow also shitting on players for being shit.... at least give concession in one direction
It's almost...

Cult like?
