He said we need a full team for the Premier league.
A team of experienced players exclusively to play in the Champions League and
A team of young players to play in the domestic cups.

A core or 14 players for the premier league.
An additional 5 top players for the champs league.
5 younger players for cup completions.
5 backup players.

Well within squad limits.

Lmfao 🤣

So we'll see, then. If he finds gainful employment at a top 5 euro league club, I will happily admit I was wrong and the Europa league clearly qualifies him at this level in spite of the woeful league form.

If he ends up at AEK Athens or back in Scotland/Australia it's pretty definitive proof to the contrary, that he is in fact woefully out of his depth at the top end of the game, and 1 EL win does not change that.

Sure thing, man, this very scientific method will be proven beyond a reasonable doubt, I guess.

They will be fine.
Lector has already said he will put shares in a trust, sell shares or other things to make them compliant.
"Uefa has rejected offers from the Crystal Palace shareholders John Textor and David Blitzer to put their shares in a blind trust to ensure the club can compete in Europe next season...Palace executives, including Textor and the chairman, Steve Parish, met Uefa officials in Nyon on Tuesday to try to broker a solution without reaching agreement. The Guardian has learned that the so-called blind trust option in which Textor’s Palace shares would be placed in the hands of trustees next season was rejected by Uefa, as the club missed the deadline for registering the trust.

Dude, what are you on about . The conversation is about whether or not it is meaningless, not whether Ange is a good coach or better than Klopp.

The guy won a more major trophy. than 95% of managers ever will in their entire career. It's an achievement for him and no amount of sour grapes about Spurs' 17th place finish changes that.
I'm on about the list of Europa League managers ranging from absolute nobodies to elite coaches but also having some of the very best ever to grace the game never even bothering to try winning it.
It's meaningless for that very reason. Ange hasn't joined some very special club because we won it.

In so way I'm not sure I'd blame them.

Imagine you've got a shower that hasn't worked for years, and you hire a guy to come and redo the bathroom. He says "I'll need £20k for the tiles. Really nice tiles". If you get to the end of the job and he's broken most of the tiles and left the whole room like a building site, but says "I told you I'd fix the shower mate. The rest of it I'll need another £20k to fix", you're not going to be inclined to let him burn it all away.

That league finish has really muddled everything, really, really badly.
Or the cup win has.
Whichever way you look at it, it's a massive juxtaposition that very few teams, if any, will have had to deal with.

What's this got to do with Ange?

He’s not going to AEK
