Are you expecting Spurs to finish third? I thought the goal was top half and win the Europa League. By the way, plenty of European Cup winners finished bottom half and kept their manager and finished 6th the next season. Look up Aston Villa.

Mate we've just finished 17th with our worst ever Premier League season. We lost more home games than we won, twice as many in fact. If that's a low expectation then it's because Ange has left us in this state.

The only way Ange could top the Europa is by winning the CL or PL and there is nothing in our performances over the last two years that suggests he would ever manage that. Nothing.

He's given us the long awaited trophy and our parting memory of him is parading the trophy around the stadium at the last game of the season, and that's best for everyone.

No one knows, that is the point.

Whomever is appointed isn't responsible for AP being sacked, so immediately writing him off/hating on him is ridiculous.

AP is gone, pining for him won't bring him back. Whomever we get deserves our backing up to the point where he doesn't.

I keep seeing ‘X position and a trophy?’ trotted out like it was an absolute certainty retaining Ange was going to give us silverware every year by default like he’s unlocked some secret cheat code!

If you tot up the winners of silverware every season across the big leagues, it really is a small pool of clubs, so trotting that out constantly really is a lazy narrative as if we’ve just sacrificed our god given right to a pot every season!

Had to go, saw no evidence that we wouldnt be in the lower half of the table and around the relegation zone, given the League form.

Thanks for the trophy though and all the best in the future.

The appeal of Frank is his ability to get good league positions with peanuts in terms of a wage bill

It’s blindingly obvious what we can expect from the club with this appointment.

If I was guessing, this is the year they finally sell up and Frank is there to get a safe mid table position on zero wages and very little investment this summer. Then the new owners can make a big splash with their new coach

Would you rather have Thomas Frank or Brendan Rodgers as our next manager? Genuinely curious as Brendan has fucking loads of pots on his resume and has PL experience, surely he must be a better option than Frank?

No - I'm sticking to what we know, rather than hypotheticals.

I'm saying that Klopp lost his best defender and didn't finish 17th. How many games did he lose Allison for this and last season, too. Good managers can adapt. Ange refused to.


I don't know why you're bringing up Aston Villa? What decade are you reaching into there
 
I understand the momentus achievent of winning the Europa, I know it means the world to us and I went to the parade to celebrate it too, it's a massive moment.

When push comes to shove he didn't get fired for winning a trophy, he got fired because for the last season and a half the league form has been completely unacceptable.

you fail to see the big picture along with most spurs fans, you are used to being also rans and will continue to do so. league form was poor, granted, however Ange achieved what all previous managers failed to do in 40years. facts are he wins everywhere he goes, always has always will, lower quality leagues, yes but its all relative. the problem with Spurs isnt the quality of players its a deep rooted losing mentality that cuts from the CEO to the players onto the fans...just a self loathing loser mentality, Jose said it, Conte said it and Ange thinks it. it takes years to create a win at all cost mentality at a club, let alone a club that are losers, he took that first step, started to create that mentality and was ousted all because he is a winner nothing more nothing less

Neither would be my choice if I was seriously trying to win the PL and CL

If the scum decided Arteta couldn’t win them the PL would they be choosing between Frank or Rodger’s?
