It's silly misguided one sided comments like this is the reason why you get push back BTW
It's not silly.

We couldn't string two passes together. Man U were by far the better team. And we got lucky to bumble the ball over the line on like our only attack something.

We was utter shit, and if it wasn't for VdV clearance, they would have gone on to win.

We had nothing, zero, the square root of feck all.

It's great we won, but if we had lost, we would have thoroughly deserved it. And Ange should have been sacked to told yo leave the stadium and make his own way home.

It's silly because he is saying we were lucky to win completely ignroring the fact that 2 of our creative players were injured for the match whilst they pretty much had a cleans bill of health.

No one knows how the match would have turned out either way but to put our win purely down to luck and ignore the fact they were lucky that our team wasn't stronger on the day is idiotic in the extreme, that not even about Ange, its just about basic fucking logic.

We were shit all season creative players or not.

No we don't how the match would panned, but we have a really good idea from the shower of shit that was served up for almost the whole of last season.

Even watching the game we had nothing, not a thing, like one shot on target, one shot on goal or something stupid like that.

If ManU scored, we would have lost, we offered nothing.

We got lucky, no it's no buts, and that VdV clearance saved us.

Yeah I’m with you on that. Ange couldn’t resist using the Forest press conference to circle back to his “oppressed Aussie manager” narrative again, which just reinforces that chip on his shoulder. I swing between thinking he’s tolerable and then finding him really grating – the arrogance and insecurity are always bubbling away. Agree it’s a strange appointment by Marinakis and feels destined to unravel quickly.
I thought his presser was awful. I'd just about got to wondering whether just maybe he'd reflected and learned something and perhaps his squad was at a better starting int for Ange-ball etc. But the body language and defensiveness in that presser ... dear me. He is going to see a lot of shoes again this year lads!

Yep. We DID defend well backs to the wall. But ffs, our backs should not be to the wall against that Man U team.

Boring, tedious twaddle...honestly

Can't stand speculative IF IF IF/had that happened arguments, just a load of utter nonsense

Hate maybe too strong but i dont like him. In all my time supporting us i've only actively disliked 3 people when at the club, Sugar, Mourinho and Postecoglou. All similar personality types, arrogant, rude, narcissitic, and a refusal to take any responsibility.

Some of his comments from that City game onwards were just antagonistic. 4 spats with the fans last season at Bournemouth, Leicester, Chelsea and Fulham. Totally obnoxious to journos post match, particulaly the female ones. Just thought he was a really poor figurehead for the club. It all seemed so amateurish and thats before you get onto his tactics.
I'd agree that's where it ended up. It's last chance saloon for him. Will be very interesting. He's done very well for a guy who's coaching is no more sophisticated than "up and at em"

Laughable that he's still peddling the "I always win trophies" line whilst now at the level of Forest.

You're winning fuck all mate quit the bullshit.

I doubt he lasts the season there.
Don't get the animosity towards him. It didn't work out at Spurs , but he DID win a trophy, so he's right to say he always wins trophies.
Surely every Spurs fan is wishing him the best, even if it's just for his first game.

I think he’s a bit of an odious prick at times.

Then at times I think he is ok so I’d say overall I’m indifferent about him. But that arrogance and gruffness he has is never far from the surface and he has a huge chip on his shoulder and insecurity which stems from somewhere, but it’s definitely there which you don’t really see from other PL managers.

And I hated the shit he said and did as Spurs manager which just showed he was a complete clown and out of his depth.

On to Forest, I think it’s going to be a car crash there. He's a bizarre choice by Marinakis. Although recent form by Nuno hasn’t been as good, which surprises me. 4 wins in 20 or something. But overall Nuno was a success no doubt and he did that by building a very good defence, being hard to beat and got the best out of Wood and the other attackers.

Marinakis clearly feels they have another gear and Ange can win them stuff. I think it’s mental appointing the manager who guided Spurs to our worst ever PL league season just a few months ago.

They’ll be more attacking (reckless) and will be far more open and concede goals. Ange won’t change. He’s brought the same awful coaching staff, he’ll play exactly the same way. All of the league has worked it out.

No doubt he’ll probably get a few big scoring wins on the rare occasions it clicks but no way is his football seeing Forest finishing higher than they did under Nuno.

We always see in this league that pragmatism tops all out attacking open football. Especially if you aren’t the best team in there league.

I can’t wait to watch this disaster from afar. So glad he isn’t our problem anymore.
Yeah, you'd need the PSG squad to play something akin to Ange-ball and actually do well in the PL. I don't mean win it, as I don't think PSG playing Angeball would get anywhere close to winning it.

I think a lot of us have mixed feelings about him

In fairness the EL was a pretty weak competition. But yes, we did win, and he deserves some credit for that. 22 defeats in the league is part of it also though. I don't like watching my team get battered all season.

His ego, manner and attitude turn a lot of people off also

If you read some of the posts in here it perfectly explains why there is animosity towards him. On top of that he was the manager that put us through a horrible season getting pumped every week against our rivals and even at home against teams like Leicester and Ipswich. And no the Europa league at the need of the season didn’t make up for it. For me anyway. Performing in the league is the bread and butter

I remember posting about him looking down at post match pressers when he first came to us and being rebuked for even bringing it up due to our good start ...little did I know that trait along with the scattergun *cough* were to become such a draining irritant.

They have to be nervous tells especially the *cough*....at first I thought it was a virus but on countback I discovered it manifested itself on 22 separate occasions. :ange-blow:

Ange Postecoglou has told BBC Radio Nottingham he wants to deliver a "generational moment" as Forest boss.

Wasn't it a generation when they were last relegated?
Looks like he will get his moment this year.

This kind of cough is almost certainly due to Acid Reflux (GORD). You can't help it.

Think I might have to put this thread back in my favs again, some good memories in here and it's gonna be kinda funny if he does well to see people come up with all sorts of mental gymnastics hehe :mourhandlaugh:

The thing is you little snake, everything we told you about Ange was correct and he did get sacked. He ran us right into the ground and when you realised we actually knew what we were talking about and the complete muck you were spouting about him was rubbish, you fucked off on one of your little cowardly disappearing acts.

There’s no point in people saying how anges stint at Forrest will go because we all know it ends in disaster because he’s the worst manager the premier league has ever seen. Anyone in here do yourself a favour and ignore this sad cunts efforts at antagonising through the myth that is Ange fucking no clue.

Cunt.
