A lot harder to show that at Forrest than at say an expected Top 6 club.

Forrest overperformed last season, playing snatch 'n grab football with Wood playing the best season of his life. That has a short shelf life at the top of the tree. Their slide was inevitable.

If Ange somehow manages to get Forrest into any level of European football for next season and go deep in a cup competition, it's a very good season for them.

A relegation scrap and a quick exit from the EL is what will be the final nail. AND A QUICK SLIDE INTO THE RELEGATION ZONE.

And a quick exit from the PL....I'll be surprised if they don't go down...

They spent 1/4 billion on players this summer - The club will demand a European place for next season. However, last season forest has the fewest touches of the ball and spent the lowest time in the opposition 3rd. Smash n Grab is right, and it will be interesting to see how Ange sets the team up as the season goes on.
Ange will do just fab at Forest, they were lucky to get him with Man City wanting him according to some poster on this forum :ange-arms:

there were shit loads of them weirdos on here when he was stinking the club out.
And still is

He had a fast start here, it was only after his leadership began to set in following the bounce that we started looking like relegation strugglers the majority of the time
26 points from his first 10 games, then 40 points from the next 28. Excluding his first 10 games, he got 78 points in 66 games.

If he was still here we’d have 4 points at best ffs. I’m loving Slim Frank instead.
