He genuinely acts like he has no intuitive grasp of some of the core tenets of game theory [football is a game] and economics that are very relevant to football management actually.

You know, stuff like diminishing returns [of goals], different and context dependent payoffs for a given strategy [going all out attack] and such.
After I watched his presser I honestly got the feeling he’s just fucking winging it, hence my comment🤣🤣
I don’t know but I think he’s seriously out of his depth, time will tell….

Basically Ange distilled in one game: a great start with some promising attacking football eventually undone by his unwillingness to adapt, do any kind of game management and sloppy defending from set pieces.

Reckon he'll have Forest floating around 17th-18th come the new year. They'll batter a couple of teams but get done in most games due to his naive tactics and inability to play Angeball 2x per week then Marinakis will bin him off to keep them in the league.

Not sure what decent manager would want to join Forest under Marinakis after the way they handled the Nuno situation, though. It's gonna end up a job for risky up-and-comers and desperate managers like Ange. Doubt they'll attract anyone that good. Not better than Nuno anyway.

The fools think they can get the likes of Iraola or Glasner LOL.

When those two leave, it'll be to clubs a damn sight bigger than Nottingham Forest. Sadly, I reckon one of them will end up at United.
