It was never owned by Sky and regardless of that it doesn't mean it's some sort of Monday Night Football spin off, it's literally what it is, a podcast.

...when was the last time Sky Sports actually did any deep-diving tactical analysis or a forensic breakdown? It’s a sports podcast mate, not some Sky Sports deep-diving tactical analysis. No-one’s tuning in to hear a forensic breakdown of why he kept playing Bentancur as a lone 6 and a deep dive into PL record - that doesn’t serve anyone apart from Spurs fans who already argue about that stuff on X and on forums.
People take this crap far too seriously, the sport is basically a soap opera driven by popular narratives. Podcasts are just another way to engage the public and stir debate and react to what everyone’s talking about and spin up more narratives...not every conversation needs to be a coaching badge seminar.
You’re not going to get that with most people who go on podcasts anyway, let’s be real a lot of them are there to build their profile and keep themselves relevant...It’s a platform and it's free exposure and to level managers are no different.

For the last 10 years they've slowly descended into powder puff clichés and click bait sound bites... Just LIKE their podcast competition!
Or else why would we still get nonsense like "Well you know what Romero is like" and well that's Spurs for you...? as well as "Man Utd just KNOW how to win trophies!"
They've become more and more lazy cos they know they've already got the viewers, as long as they keep pandering to the Big Sky Four...
Bit like the Spurs board do with the Stadium???
...that's Spurs for you!!!!!
Ah.
Yeah, when he's not spitting at kids!!
I would have been pissed if I’d been a season ticket holder, granted. I just stopped going near the end and haven’t been to see us at all this season. I’d only do maybe 15-20 games anyway. But I do agree that you shouldn’t be expected to fork out hard earned to watch some of the pish we’ve seen in the last two years.you got me Colombo, I live in hope, and I despise Ange. I go to games, I've probably wasted 3g plus to watch the junk Ange called football. Dude basically turned me into alcoholic.
If you believe his nonsense about throwing the league, he should compensate me for all the slop he he served up.
He ruined going to Tottenham for me, and for many people around me. Then he has the audacity to take zero responsibility.
Has any other club needed to play such shit, winless football, to win the Europa league?
Did levy and co hamper him so much that his only recourse was to play the most tactically naive football, know to man, in the league to win the Europa. Is that your assertion?
Oh another thing that pisses me off is how some assume we played attractive football. First 10 games it was decent, and tbf there were a few random games where we were OK, but for the majority we laboured in attack, and were horrific in defence. If was ugly to sit through, knowing not only that we were going to lose, but lose playing horrific football.
I can take a manager who is more erratic with results, but play's good football, and I can take a manager who wins consistently but sets up in a drab manner. What i can't take is manager who plays ugly unsuccessful football.
I really can't understand people who'll die on the hill of Ange.
That was cathartic. Thank you.
Where we disagree is that I had hope with Ange. I’d hear him talk and think that we were on the edge of something. I heard Frank talk and knew we were on the edge of relegation. It’s hope that I’ve lost recently and it doesn’t feel great.
Overall, I can see why Ange pissed a lot of people off. I can also see how he could have kept others onside, as he did with me.
Woah, hold your horses right there buddy!

I've got a good feeling about next season. I don't know why but I feel it in my bones. Next season will be special

We also struggled to score and it was all a bit bitty.Woah, hold your horses right there buddy!
Those 10 games have been romantically misremembered by those who love Postecoglou, the reality was we scored some good goals and attacked a lot but teams time and again passed straight through our defence, and although Vicario has his faults that we all know about, he made a series of spectacular point blank saves during those 10 games, insomuch I recall people reckoning the club had got a better keeper than Raya.
I still remember peeking through my fingers at the TV thinking to myself, how the fuck did he save that!!
It's a bit like how David Icke uses instances such as Epstein's machinations , and things like Savile being chummy with Prince Charles (as he was known then) to verify his rantings about the World being run by some sort of Satanic reptilian shapeshifting paedophile ring,We also struggled to score and it was all a bit bitty.
Sheff Utd for instance.
I Think one of our best games was AV 4-0... Put us in the driving seat for a CL spot, and then fucked it and embarrassed us.
So Postecoglou holding up the trophy with I told you so.... is just the same as Icke holding up the Epstein files saying I told you so.
Half of our fanbase are an utter disgrace and beyond even ridiculing here.
What a way to treat a decent human being (by all accounts) as well as a bonafide Tottenham legend... No wonder we're the laughing stock of the world. We actually, definitely deserve it.
"Supporters" had a big part to play in kamikaze'ing something that could have been a twisting point in our recent trajectory. Decided rather than supporting our beautiful club through hard times, they would rather follow other internet DORKS and make becoming anti-Ange their new full-time personality and online persona. So happy for you all
Really hope to see the big man do well in anything he goes onto. Has more heart in himself than what we seem to in an entire institution.
No wonder Kane and Son left this club considering some of the state of our "supporters". Half of which have had their panties well and truly pulled down by the media - YES, you are likely reading this, and YES if you're feeling like it might be aimed at you, then I can confirm that YES it definitely is and you're most likely are a raging CUCK with a secret Chelski or Gooner fetish.
Big Ange out here doing classy interviews just to mug off all of the LOW-IQ obsessed MUPPETS one final time.

Think of a trophy as verification that the manager of the trophy winning team has done something incredible, even though the players have decided upon their own tactics and approach to the game.
Then think of how David icke's supporters are convinced he's some sort of enlightened being because he's been talking about sex scandals regarding people in positions of power for decades.

No. No I won't be thinking of either of these tortured metaphors.
Because I'm not completely and utterly batshit crazy.
I will, however, be suggesting to local law enforcement that your hard drive be checked immediately.![]()
I dont think it is an "incredible achievement" when the favourites to win a tournament go and win the tournament.Because we never had another manager who had the balls to actually say we are winning a trophy this year and instilling belief in the players that it was going to happen.
Ange was unique and he terrified some supporters. They couldn't handle the pressure of our manager saying we could win something and break our drought incase he'd be wrong and we'd be bantered.
I don't care what anyone on here says. It was an incredible achievement by Ange to have the whole dressing room believing we could end the 17 year drought despite having an awful season. And anyone who thinks otherwise just has their own issues.
This is absolutely spot on as to why I used to be a huge fan of his (prior to us appointing him, and initially) and to why I wouldn't want him near us now. There are people who think it is a deliverable promise, and people who see it as bombastic.
People had (and some still have) hope because when he talks he is so convicted that he would play the best football and win every game 5-0 - but we saw, in the league, that it just isn't realistic.
He seems to have some much belief in himself, which has its advantages, but if you have 2 seasons then you start to look at league performances and see there's a fundamental flaw to not being able to compromise on style, at all, or have any tactical flexibility.
The idea that people didn't want us to win the cup is a ridiculous and weak argument - I think every spurs fan wanted and enjoyed that outcome. The issue is that, like our other cup winning managers in the PL era, is that is has no reflection or vindication of anything else.
I mean, based on last season's pattern and how this season was going, it isn't completely unthinkable that Frank could have gone on to reach a CL final and somehow shithoused it - and we'd probably still seem some kind of minority claiming him as one of the best managers in our history for the accolade and deserving of more time. Just how it is.
100000%Negativity is what's wrong with this club, including the owners, management, fans and forums.
"Oh. This was a good season. We didn't win anything but we finished 4th on the table....."
Where is the Will To Win? Where is the belief?
FFS, we haven't won the league since 1961 and all the others of the Big 6 have won it multiple times.
Ange was a breath of fresh air into a toxic, loser environment.
He installed BELIEF into the players and delivered on the same.
It's a bit like how David Icke uses instances such as Epstein's machinations , and things like Savile being chummy with Prince Charles (as he was known then) to verify his rantings about the World being run by some sort of Satanic reptilian shapeshifting paedophile ring,
Believe it or not Icke has a lot of people that believe it all, he fills massive stadiums such as Wembley. He holds up instances such as Epstein as sort of trophies that he won, in a told you so sort of way.
Postecoglou I recall, told his players to imagine their greatest influential person is watching (even though they could well not be) so it's a David Icke like trick. It's all about psychology and will with him, but he's enough of a grifter to know that the Europa League was all he had to focus on. Romero and VdV had to convince him what to do, and they got it done on his behalf.
So Postecoglou holding up the trophy with I told you so.... is just the same as Icke holding up the Epstein files saying I told you so.
No matter how much you try to talk sense into either of these people's supporters, they'll just tell you there's something wrong with you. There is literally nothing one can say to convince any of those people to change their minds. There isn't a way to win a debate with them.
