Remember these losers calling Ange 'normalising losing' ? Lol. Guess they are the actual losers hence coining that term. Now I get it.

Literally managed in the league this season with a 0% win rate. On to his second sacking within a years time.

The loser mentality is wanting to hire this guy to save us just because you have some childish emotional attachment to him as a man.

He is a nobody in the premier league. He has no experience fighting a relegation battle, no experience of winning any kind of premier league battle. He in fact has history for big loss streaks and spiralling.

Luckily it’s an empty discussion as it isn’t happening, but good grief the people who can’t get over Ange’s sacking are the worst people on here. This is why I genuinely hope he finds a job so that you can all go cheerlead for him there.

They keep moving the goalposts man, always some fresh new angle against him when I venture in here, now they're saying the players stopped playing for him for 18 months so therefore he wouldn't make a difference now even though all I kept hearing about him is that he was running our players into the ground because they were sprinting too much lol

The goalposts don’t need to move. He’s sucked in the league for a year and a half of football at two separate clubs. He’s not a good premier league coach.

He failed to win a single league game with Forest, he lost 22 of them last season with Spurs. And y’all want to throw him in last minute to manage league matches and “save” us.

All whilst we have almost no firepower or creativity, so even if we accept that they “love” him so much they’ll try, it’ll just be pointless ill disciplined headless chicken bullshit, the same shite that saw us be so bad the season before.

I think when he comes back and keeps us up he deserves 2 statues.

Since we lost 22 of 38 last year I think that qualifies as losing being normal. We just continued his pattern this year
Do you think the terms “losing was normal” and “normalizing losing” mean the same thing?

I’d suggest there’s a difference between the two. Seems to me that there’s an undertone of acceptance to the second one, almost something that was planned, whereas the first is just something that happened, but not by design.

Indeed. There are a few individuals here whose visceral dislike of Postecoglou is so embedded in their psyche that they can't help themselves from coming on and repeating the same mantra over and over. It's unclear to me what the root of their aversion is. I think it has to be more than xenophobia, although the epithets routinely used suggest the contrary.

I do think that one or two fans enjoy prodding them from time to time just to keep the entertainment going. It's like shooting fish in a barrel.

It’s truly amazing that the Ange thread has lots of posts about Ange in it when posters are suggesting we re-hire Ange. How dare the pesky now apparently xenophobic (LMAO) haters push back against this.

Truly a genius level take.

So, when you are wrong your modus operandi is to indulge in name calling. Sad.

Oh for goodness sake! We are in a terrible state, granted, but we are not in a relegation battle this season, will not be in a relegation battle this season, and were never in a relegation last season.

Why do people feel the need to over dramatise what is already a shit show?

At worst, one of, but certainly not both of, West Ham or Forest will overtake us

When wrong your modus operandi seems to be to run to daddy as a comfort blanket. Or are we still not in a relegation battle?

I think ne needs to come back either way so at least we have some closure to this thread, if he keeps us up the Ange bois wins and all the Ange haters have to kiss his feet and apologise for every shit post and abuse they've dished out but if we get relegated the thread can close and we never talk about this thread ever again, I think that's fair personally.

Probably not. He’s a total nobody. But we’ve given him a few matches. It’s all a bit silly from the club if you appoint someone and have lost faith already because we’ve had some horrendous fixtures + Palace/Atletico featured some awful individual errors.

I dunno how much difference it all makes now .. the players are gonna have to do the vast majority of the work as it’s all a bit late & nervy for coaching and tactics.
Ah lad, he's atrocious. Still persisting with this daft formation, calling the players out constantly. It's a mess and if he's not sacked we're a certainty to get relegated. I don't see us winning a point with him in charge.

I was against sacking him til the Fulham game, thought the notion was ludicrous, but he's made an awful situation, an impossible one.

I actually thought this was a good interview:

View: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zgDh_TrQTFQ

If this is the famous "no comment" remark, it's been massively taken out of context. Ange has done nothing but offer encouragement during this interview.

I'm not one of the people who wants Ange to come back but I'm glad he still feels "invested". I already feel better just from listening to him and his words of support mean a lot.

I would not expect Ange to have any bad feeling toward the club in general. The man who sacked him is gone, and if Ange blames the players he was given for his failure the same man was in charge of that business.

Close the thread?? Are you insane???????

He gave us this moment.

Bring him back. We need him in charge for Forest game. 3 points guaranteed.

Interesting reading on defenders league starts his Season 2.

Kinsky 6
Forster 7
Danso 10
VDV 12
Dragusin 13
Davies 14
Romero 18
Gray 19.

Relied on Archie Gray as a CB far too much. Maybe so much time on the sidelines affected VDVs mindset too.

1/3 of the season with Forster / Kinsky. I’ve mentally blocked that from my mind too!!

Injuries impacted Micky and Romero, but they barely featured in the league from March despite being fit as they were rested for Europa.
