This thread should be on the curriculum for anyone studying psychology or, indeed, philosophy.

I think it was Leonardo Da Vinci who said that there are three types of people: those that see, those that see when they are shown, and those that don't see.

Smart man, Leonardo.

Ange really divided us.

I just wish that we had given him 10 games this season. If it fell apart and he was sacked or if he did well and was kept, surely we would have been more united than we are now.
And it wouldn’t have been any worse however could have been infinitely better. Just bizarre.
As he said, very mixed messages from the board. If it was club form, we’ll sack him yonks before the cup final. But to do it after winning a cup, uniting the fans and giving everyone a massive shot in the arm, street parade et al……..very bizarre.

Never said by him. See what’s happened is you’re thick enough to see a picture of him next to a quote on Facebook and take it at face value.

Maybe a few lessons in critical analysis rather than wasting your time trying to seem more intelligent than you are by quoting important sounding people.

Might help you get less routinely humiliated.

Why are you such a bad person?

There was a stage where I thought IF he was less dogmatic and IF he had better assistants, but he said he will never change the way he plays so it is what is.

I know some people don't like to read it but that gives the narrative that VdV and Romero managed the Europa League final a nod of approval, because those tactics certainly weren't Postecoglou's.

The best scenario to explain it for Postecoglou would be that he finally saw his tactics weren't working, so he took the advice from his two CBs, and instructed them to organise it, and get the other players doing what's needed.

The stupid git who owns Nottingham Forest probably hired Postecoglou based on that match.

The best scenario to explain it is the two creative midfielders at the club Maddison and Kulusevksi were injured for that game and Son was not fully fit.

That was fantastic. The board did very well. Left it long enough to get the Angebois deliciously believing their king would stay. Their little hopes. Their little dreams. They even started planning for the next season!

All of it crushed. The collective wailing like when a North Korean dictator dies was amazing. And then they left the forum .. till now.

Well I suppose but it still doesn't match with your post that I quoted which states he will never change.

So your post is wrong.

Another thing is if the players all loved Postecoglou why did VdV come out with the narrative that Romero and himself managed some of the Europa League matches, because it would be very odd to lie about a manager that you love.

So either it's true or they didn't love him as much as people say. if it is true then the tactical change wasn't because of injuries but because VdV and Romero talked some sense into him.

It doesn't matter either way, we all know that Postecoglou's way, the way you say he never changes, isn't what won the Europa League final.

Joined in 2019, only 200 odd posts which started in 2026, immediately in with stuff like this.

Shall we play whose multi is it?

I was only pulling your leg mate.

But as I explained recently I joined up to have a look about the place but never really posted as I've been a member of SC for over two decades.
However, I recently fell foul of a notorious member of staff and so here I am, basically carrying on like I would on there because there are quite a few names I recognise as ex SCers.

Did he forget Gooner Cunts? They are people too, you know. Just not proper ones.

Why are you such a bad person?

It’s almost like when people make cowardly indirect sarcy posts aimed at essentially calling other people thick, they deserve equally nasty treatment.

I am a bad person to people who are bad people. If you don’t want to be treated like a total arsehole, don’t be one. Or you will get the worst treatment in the world.

I'm still waiting for a 'thank you' for linking you to the quiz you demanded to be told about, Mr Nice Guy. Even a 👍 would have been nice 😭

Well for 250,000 Tottenham fans and millions who weren't at the parade, and for the players, it certainly wasn't absolutely shite and distracting garbage. The emotion was real for every single one of them. For our players, even stalwarts like Son, it likely will end up as the the highlight of their club careers.

Of course the CL ranks higher, but given our dearth of trophies, ANY trophies, ought to be valued.
Trophies are valued...

The arsehole that lost 22 games in a season isn't.

Just like Graham and Ramos are not valued, despite them being the only other managers to win silverware for us.

Its just hypocrisy and double standards...

And what's more disgusting is they claim that those that agree he should have gone some how dont appreciate we won a cup... This line of thinking is just disgusting and completely untrue...

Ange was a shyte manager, as the team after the first 10 games unbeaten, was just a downward spiral.

If an elite coach was available you'd all drop the Ange pining in heartbeat.

Because deep down you know he isn't good enough.
I'd take De Zerbi before Ange. And I hate rape apologists.

I just want someone who will keep us up. That's important to me. I'm not sure why it doesn't seem as important to you as fluttering around in this thread like a moth to a flame. What purpose are you serving here?

I just wish that we had given him 10 games this season. If it fell apart and he was sacked or if he did well and was kept, surely we would have been more united than we are now.

With hindsight and given our circumstances this is unarguable. Success and we move on, failure and he's sacked in November and our stupid fucking board act more decisively in January. Now we're absolutely fucked.

It's baffling that people seem to be enraged by this reality.

He clearly stated that he spoke to the squad about binning the league for the cup. About them getting their pictures on the wall to go with the old black and white ones. That they’ll get pelters from everyone because their league form was going to be shit but it’ll be worth it when they win the cup.
Have not heard one player come out and say that wasn’t the case.

So I would say it had everything to do with him.
Because he knew he had 0 chance on the PL, ...all he was doing is deflecting and preparing his excuses...yes, he got lucky but don't delude yourself because you're an Aussie...
