Ah yes, the “normal” spurs fans. Basically you, shady and some Australians. And candrews who thinks Ange is a premier league legend .. he’s almost certainly Australian too in fairness.

I like the use of European Trophy to make it sound more important. West Ham fans did this. Nobody calls it the Europa league or conference league, takes the shine off significantly.

There are fans who enjoy the trophy and think it meant something but also think Ange is a bad manager. The overlap exists. Those are normal fans.

We won a European trophy. Postecoglou was not able in the PL. The evidence is there.

The rest is just viewpoint. Why continue? You have your position and that other group have their own.

5th first season, and back into Europe (without Harry).

Second season, we were doing reasonably well until the injury crisis late November.
Despite that, Ange won THAT CUP!!!!

What do the doomer/derangers say about Ange:
-He caused all the injuries because of his playing style​
-He has no plan B​
-He's a fat Aussie c**t​
-He didn't win THAT CUP, the players took over.​
What a load of hogwash!!!

And what do the D&D's continue to say?
Oh! But we finished 17th last season.
Who cares.
We were never facing relegation, we won THAT CUP and we got back into the CL.
What else could you wish for to justify a good season?
Finish 5th or 6th with NO CUP?

If the mob upstairs had backed Ange for four seasons, with the players he wanted, we'd be challenging for the EPL title.

I fairness; MM is referring to winning the UEFA Cup and BUILDING from THAT achievement.

Building success is the Holy Grail; it can’t just be spun out of tin air or bought ( at least not anymore) .

Most people realised that AP needed to address ( big time ) how he went about things in the league etc but at least he’d built a launch pad for a POTENTIALLY successful rocket to the moon .

It was not to be and we’re all having to deal with subsequent events.*

Fucking hell. The 2nd season was was one of the most horrid frustrating season ever, that literally started to make me hate football... We were lucky if could string two passes together, and this regression in footballing standards started in the first half of his first season... The signs were even evident even during the run of 10 unheated games, we're struggled to create chances and score goals... Sheff Utd for instance.

Relying heavily on individual moments, just like England at the world cup, rather than as well drilled team.

Yes, there was some great performances, Villa etc, but the performances just dropped off by the end of the first season and throwing away a CL spot.

The revisionism, is why Ange fan Bois get the shit they do. They think everyone has short memories and can't remember anything, when in reality, the two years under him, after those first 10 games, was fucking horrible...

Yes, it was great winning the cup, but fuck was I angry at the shit I was watching during the game, and the 2nd season in the league... Fuck... I hate him so much now...
