It's XMAS 2039. Spurs are playing Plymouth Argyle to stay out of the relegation places in League 1.

Deuterz Deuterz is enjoying a sherry while his Grandson watches the football.

Grandson Deuterz asks: "What did YOU do the year Tottenham went down, Grandpa Deuterz Deuterz "

Detuerz takes a large sip of sherry. Wipes his gently leaking bulbous red nose. Smiles fondly and says:

"I owned the Angebois on TFC, son. I owned them good. You should have seen the poll".

:D

The bulbous red nose in this scenario was so unnecessary. I’m still pretty young man, got a while to go until whisky nose.

And I don’t like sherry. Can it be a baileys?

Course you didn’t lad.

“The Frank thread should be more active” yeah it would if the equivalent of the Angebois existed for him, or if he had some weird Danish cult who emigrated here when he joined.

This thread exists ‘cos you lot want it to. Literally celebrating 5k pages because it’s the last place in football anyone wants to talk about him.
You're on here almost as much as Phomesy.

This thread exists because you, and others like you, can't let it go.

If it were just a bunch of happy clappers on here, they'd soon get bored and the thread would fizzle out, same as many others, but you keep coming on here.

You live for the tear up, just as everyone else who hates AP does, so you spend more time on here than in any other thread.

We will if we lose all our remaining games, which given the shitshow yesterday, seems pretty likely to me.

Besides, I'd rather lose 22 games, stay up, and win a trophy, than lose only 20 and get relegated, while winning fuck all.

Me too but surely the salient point is that injuries and a poorly built squad are the real cause of our woes.

It just astounds me that people still think any manager would have done any better with the injuries we've copped.

Irony is I didn't post in here for 5 months once Frank was appointed. I'd moved on.

I only came back here when it was clear we were in really deep shit and I thought maybe Ange might be the only one who could maybe sort it out given the players know his gameplan and obviously love him.

Now I'm just here for the good memories as its clear that's all we're gonna have for some time.

No idea why the others keep posting in here. But if they want a fight, they'll get it. 🤷‍♂️

Nb: Deuterz has posted in this thread WAAYYYY more than me. :D

What kind of cunt does this, when the club is in the position it's in.

Acting like a total wanker.

You ain't fit enough to clean the shit off a gooner's shoe, let alone being a Spurs fan.

On ignore you go... Aussie prick.

He's just rightly pointing out that you got what you wanted and now we're getting relegated.

If you don't want to be reminded of that - don't click on the thread. 🤷‍♂️

You’d love this thread trending if you were winning the poll lmao.

Frank’s thread doesn’t trend because he doesn’t have a psycho cult running about making polls and calling people derangers when they criticise him. Most accept he was crap. No need for debate.

Ange has his cult, his Angebois, and they will never stop raising his banner, even after he disappears in to football irrelevance. Which has happened already tbh.
I check in here about once a month now, and honestly it’s almost exclusively for posts like this. I mean, grown men fixating on Angebois and derangers and cults and polls with a few dozen votes, which they think is in any way representative of anything other than the few randos remaining in this thread. It’s sad and hilarious and nothing if not… weird.

At any rate, we mustn’t forget how many have changed their tune from ‘any competent manager will have us flying up the league lol’ to ‘it’s Ange’s fault we’re getting relegated’. Weird isn’t it that Man United had an even worse season last year by finishing in practically the same position whilst not winning the Europa League and not qualifying for the Champions League, yet ‘normalising losing’ has had precisely zero effect on them? It’s almost like, I don’t know, complete nonsense?

Don;t understand why people are still debating this. Reading the posts it's just turned into a massive windup from people on both sides of the argument. He ain't coming back and we're getting relegated. There are more pressing things to get wound up about really.

Yes, playing tactics that were the direct antithesis of "Angeball".

Where they were playing his tactics, we couldn't buy a win, we looked toothless, were unquestionably poor at the back, and utterly boring.

So how exactly did they thrive in his tactics?
Try and pitch that to the winning squad and the thousands of fans celebrating afterwards!

I ignore this thread when I see it often bumped to the top because I want to move on from him. I'm not reading the comments up to this point to understand the general feeling towards Ange either, but just want to post my thoughts.

This guy made losing normal and acceptable for us. That's a horrific thing to do in sport.

Expect he would blame it all on that City game.

I largely blame Ange for where we are now.
Blaming a manager who hasn’t been here all season, for this season. New levels of weirdness. Absolutely hilarious. Is your last boss responsible for your current performance at work?

I'm an individual and don't carry a club culture that accepts losing.

Most our squad could get games at top half or European competition clubs as individuals and do fine.

If my last place of work had a culture of poor performance and attitude, it would bring down my standards too.

If I found a new job around more knowledgeable colleagues with a better work culture ethic, it would raise my standards.

What if that last boss, with a threadbare squad, had you actually win a trophy whilst not getting relegated with said threadbare squad??? And in turn actually creating a culture of winning, and winning with adversity???? And yet now, 3 bosses later, he’s being blamed for your poor performances.
Talk about bizzaro!
