These can all be true at the same time:

Even if he did stretch the right way - he would not have saved it
He has form for pulling his hand away from the ball - should we be buying a keeper with such a terrible and bizarre flaw?
He was slow to get down - so add the quicker to get down and stretch your hand in the right direction - and a better keeper might have saved it
Well, myself and Joe Hart disagree.

The thing is, how many times with shots like that, even free kicks, have we seen keepers stood still and watch it fly in while they are rooted to the spot?

It does feel that there are certain posters who will blame Kinsky for any and every goal he concedes, no matter the quality of the shot.
Keepers will concede goals, that's a guarantee but that doesn't mean that every goal is the keepers fault.

It was a strange goal all round. Im sure he pulled his hand away because he thought he wasn't getting there but still a bit bizarre.

The shot itself didn't feel powerful enough to beat a keeper from that range without being right in the top corner but it does also seem to have some outrageous late swerve.

Unfortunately kinksy has looked a bit dodgy at shot stopping already in hs spurs career so you can probably see it either way depending on your bias.

The only other option has been shit all year and his name being announced Sunday would be toxic so gotta stick with Tony and get a new keeper in the summer.

That just doesn't happen though. You keep your arm outstretched in the vain hope of reaching it rather than think ah, fuck it, I ain't reaching it so I'll draw my arm back in. It just doesn't make any sense.....
Its definitely odd I'm not sure ive seen other keepers do it, and he's done it twice. If both times he thought it was going wide then it's super poor judgement, but he wasn't reaching that shot wither way by the time he pulled back

I can't believe the fans would boo Vicario on Sunday.
What an awful situation we are in.
It's far from clear that Kinsky is a proper keeper - yet because of the toxic atmosphere we might have to play him.

A tragic situation. Having to play the keeper we've played for the past 6 games and has made 1 debatable error and some incredible saves.

How will we cope.

Whoever De Zerbi picks for Everton it will be because he thinks they give us the best chance of staying in the division, not because of any fan nonsense.

Regardless of what anyone thinks of Kinsky, this idea that Vic's gonna magically come in and do great is fanciful. He's been statistically the worst keeper in the league this season at shot-stopping, is dodgy on the ball, dodgy on crosses and it would probably be his last game for the club after over a month out. That combination of factors doesn't fill me with confidence.

I'd rather chance it with Kinsky, even if he is a bit raw.

Funnily enough it seems both keepers have the same flaw ( well Vicario has developed it this season ) and that's being able to pull very good reaction saves , hand to ball from even close range but struggle to get their feet moving and get across to distance shots that aren't hit particularly hard.
I think DZB has a decision to make and it's now not an easy one. I wouldn't like to make the call but whatever he decides I'm ok with it either way.
I trust DZB to make the right call.

Personally I reckon he goes with Kinsky simply cos he's better on the ball.

Bear in mind De Zerbi was the manager that dropped Robert Sanchez - a good shot-stopper who is Vic-esque on the ball - to bring in a relatively unknown backup in Jason Steele as he was far more comfortable with his feet. He's a manager that likes keepers that are good on the ball and puts a lot of stock in that.

And while we can argue for days about the merits of Kinsky's and Vic's shot-stopping and weaknesses on long shots, there's no debating who is better with the ball at their feet.

Yeah that probably decides it tbh. There's no doubt Kinsky is better with his feet.
We won't know until the final whistle if it was the right decision and who knows , it might not matter who is in goal if we storm out of the blocks and win 3-0 comfortably and our keeper doesn't have much to do.
