Manager Antonio Conte

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Won't be a popular post but the last line is true.

All or Nothing showed it as clear as day. Silence after defeats. No one calling out the likes of Dele or Ndombele for the cunts they were.

You have a comfortable core of introverts (Kane, Lloris, Dier, Davies, Doherty) who have been part of our glorious failure for the best part of a decade.

We need a massive shake up from top to bottom.
said years ago we lack alpha males in the squad. its actually comical that lloris is the captain, fucking ronald mcdonald himself. when you got a clown like that in goal and in front of him donkey dier the oaf, of course you're going to be a shambles at the back. the keeper should be commanding and strong, the CB should be the same. the pair of them are way out of their depth at spurs. get these two muppets away from the team and we will be so much stronger for it.

the new signings i think are of the right character, for example richarlison has been here 5 mins and was on for how long? he wasnt having that little toe rag ramsdale cunts shit! you think son, kane, dier or any of that old soft lot would of let him know about himself? course they fucking wouldn't because they are yellow bellied walkovers

I would think so. He must v frustrated with the situation and level of control Lecy exerts
We don't know shit about that, so to say "he must" is pretty strange. What do you really know about Levy's level of control since Paratici started?

For example, Spence, the club signing. Is he a Paratici signing or a Levy signing?

Personally I hope not, I think the only way a Poch return works is with Paratici staying - I'm also convinced it will be Poch as others have said.

Sarr, Gil & Spence would have had half a season of PL Football under their belt by now so could work too.

Gil maybe cos he's been around longer, but in Poch's own words that's not how he works.

Paratici seems good at players, getting good deals for Kulusevski so I can see why Levy brought him in.

What worries me is this guy wanted Nuno and Gattuso. His football vision concerns me a lot. He seems an elite wheeler dealer but like Levy I am not 100% on his vision if he even has one. Would love a takeover and someone like Rangnick or Campos stuck in DoF.
I have the same concern. And here I was hoping for the club to set a vision. And Paratici to have signed off on that vision. But I'm doubting this now.

Blows out cheeks but it's right but why?

Mind you look at Liverpool and Klopp this season and you would never say Moyes or Rodgers would be the types of manager who would be kittens.

I think we have more quality than all bar Liverpool but in between the ears we struggle badly.

Quite how Arteta has instilled such belief and strength in mind at Woolwich is beyond me. Pretty football only takes you so far. It needs a real resolute set of qualities, which they embarrassingly possess and we don't.

I bet in their whole season they have made less mistakes than we have this month alone. Fcuk me what a joke.

He got rid of players who doubted/questioned him, and brought in players who believed in his “process” which was backed up by the board.

Basically, everyone at Woolwich are all singing from the same song sheet.

Meanwhile, we’ve got a board and a manager who have two completely different visions.

Not sure what anyone expects with a midfield of Doherty, Hojberg, Sarr and Sessegnon? with Donkey Dier at the back? You can all talk about tactics and formations all you like but it is and always has been about the players.

Whatever formation we play we still need to field at least one of Royal, Doherty, Davies, Sanchez, Dier, Tanganga, or Sessegnon. This lot wouldnt look out of place in the Championship and certainly no top half PL club would want them.

Yesterday we had 3 of these losers playing. Now you might be able to get away with 1 in certain games maybe 2. But not 3 against a team who are top of the league.

So yeah blame yet another manager all you like but the real issue is that Levy has not invested on the right players at the right time, has not sold our dross at the right times and has allowed our squad to deteriorate. Its all on the owners!!!

We had alternative options in every position you mention there.... A lot would say better or more appropriate to the occasion too.

CB is an obstacle to us playing 4at the back; but 352 should be a license to unleash our most attacking WBs (Spence & Perisic) and also impress a degree of counter-balance to the MF battle, yet Conte refuses to go there.

I think it's too easy to blame Levy. First of all, what's Paratici's role? Isn't he responsible for the players brought in since he arrived, and Conte? Shouldn't he do better with the players he got? It's not like he hasn't been backed since he arrived, and I'm sure the he has been involved in most signings. It's too easy and lazy to blame everything on Levy.

Again like you, I’m not hating, but I don’t see it either. I’ll never forget when he did a speech before a game in the All or Nothing documentary and it seemed fairly tame.

I also thought it was quite telling during the World Cup seeing the England players looking to Jordan Henderson more than Harry

I agree. Harry hasn’t got the personality or charisma to be a true leader. Can anyone honestly see Harry being really vocal in the dressing room before and after a game? That’s just not him. He’s a quiet lad always has been. It’s a bit like the Potter situation. Far too timid and lacking personality to be a manager at an elite club.

Potter is more charismatic than Kane. But in more of "oh yay! It's uncle Graham" way. His psychology degree probably helps as well. When he was a manager in Sweden he controlled a pretty rowdy dressing room which started collapsing the moment he left.

But he is definitely better suited to being allowed to build a team over time with players that suit him rather than what ever the hell that Chelsea is doing. He's not going to come in and instantly have everyone's respect. He gets it over time.
