Exactly this. If Conte made earlier and more in game changes I would not be as frustrated with him.

The Chelsea game Richarlison came on early in the second half and we changed to a 433, the attack instantly looked better. We have the squad to make changes in game, he just refuses.

“We have the squad to make changes” no the fuck we didn’t , who would you have brought on last night? Moura ? Skipp? Gil? Not a single player on our bench would of affected the outcome of that game

Yes they would have. Lucas has stepped up in big games more than others. Gil and Skipp would have offered more than our WBs or MF yesterday.

They might not be consistent players you want to start every week but we have players you can put on and give them a chance to do something.

It’s better than watching the same XI do nothing like they did for the first hour.

Absolutely NO ONE has put it out as an excuse!!!

It's been muted that this is what he MIGHT be doing. It's also been muted that this is what Klopp MIGHT be doing. It's a theory, it's a theory that is routed in precedent (Poch, Pep have both 100% done this multiple times).

No one knows if this is being done by Conte or not. If this is what he is doing he's not going to tell everyone is he? As Delany states, we'll just have to see what happens after the World Cup.

I’m not saying Conte was right that he hasn’t made subs earlier, but when you look at that bench, you don’t get a lot of confidence that things can change. We were unlucky that both our other attacking players were out with injuries. Again, not saying the outcome would have changed with Kulu and/or Richarlison, in my opinion United would have won that game 7 out of 10 times because I felt they were set up better and we couldn’t come with a solution to beat their press. We also sat in a pathetic mid-low block that was utter ineffective that they bypassed time and time again.

No but it is inadvertently planting a seed in some people’s minds that the reason why we look so appalling disjointed might be because Conte is going to get us super fit after the World Cup thus excusing our current lethargy and I just can’t see it

Taking Kulu & Rich out would be a big dent in any squad, but we still had the option for fresh legs, a bit more pace and an additional attacker on the bench.

On or around 70 mins:

1 x MF off <> Skipp on.
Swap the WBs <> Spence & Sess
Take off a CB or MF <> Lucas or Gil

Some or all of those were worth a punt a damn sight earlier than the 81st min, when they'd just grabbed a 2nd and the game was gone.

The problem with Conte is that none of the bad is his fault, he hasn't bees backed apparently, but if Spurs win anything, no doubt its down to him and no one else. He doesn't need to take responsibility for anything as his reputation guarantees him a status, if you ignore his European failures when apparently, he wasn't backed
