Even so that pressing from Son, and higher intensity in the cutting of angles from Harry, is needed for our press to work.
We cannot press with just one attacker. That's going to leave that poor fellow dead on his feet in the second half. You can work around having one attacker that doesn't press or partake in it. Two becomes too much of an issue in my opinion.
It could be that both of them are "saving themselves" for the world cup. But I'm presonally not a fan of that if that is the case.
I don't think he'll take any notice of me, it's why I just post my opinion on this message board.
What sort of attacking football are you after, if you're after the same style of play that these managers have then you need to reset your expectations because you're not going to get front foot football, Conte's style is very different to these coaches.
If it's goals you want, we've been amongst the highest scorers in 2022.
Also park the bus football is the most overused and incorrect and lazy term to describe this style of play.
We've seen glimpses of it: the flying wing-backs, the teeth-like defence, successfully playing out from the back, the precise angles bypassing oppo's midfields, patient play. But most importantly, we'll hopefully see subs/options who are as good as the players they're replacing.
Conte-ball is not my first choice when it comes to eye-candy. I preferred Poch and Redknapp on the whole. But I also want us to win something and I think Conte has got what it takes to get us there.
I think that was why Richy was brought in. He offers that intensity in a front 3, which is maybe why Conte has seemed to favour the 3-4-3. Same with Kulu. While they're out he has less options.

In a lot of our games this season we’ve been let down by our attackers either missing chances or some terrible decision making. Just not as fluid and cohesive as last season for some reason.
The defence and GK speak for themselves, lots of individual errors that have cost us goals this season.
Easiest thing is to just blame the manager but we have so many players that are either not in form or up to the required level to take us beyond where we currently are

If guardiola isn’t at city next season then the league is wide open (or more open than this year). It’s the one to be aiming for.

I was so hungover that day and it was so hot. Ben stokes winning that test match pre kick off was easily the best part of that day!
I did a stadium tour a few weeks after and the host was clearly a massive Poch fanboi.
TBH, I was getting worried about Poch for a long time before that game, the struggle to break teams down was getting all to frequent. Him gushing over Poch the whole touch was actually really rather infuriating.
A few more weeks and bad results and he was gone I think.
You just cant play royal and sanchez in same team.

I'm only giving Lenglet a pass because he's on loan and hasn't played enough that we can predict the outcome.
Problem yesterday was if we didn't play Sanchez and Dier, we were down to Tanganga and probably a CB2 rather than 3 as there is no one else.
Neither was the reason we lost yesterday.
I am Conte in because he is an elite manager. However I have always been of the mindset we either win throphies or we play good football, we cannot do neither.
Looking at our squad we are probably £300m off a title charge. I mean you would probably need Bastoni, Oblak, Skrinair, Hakimi, Maddison, Zaha, Barella from where we are right now.
Conte should remain as manager if we are willing to try over several windows to go down this route. If not I cannot see it working out, the fans will get pissed off with the football and Conte will get pissed off not winning trophies.
This project will only work if there is the money to truly execute it. We need to make the call on this as a club, the alternative is a Gallardo stylish football project where you accept trophies are unlikely but entertainment becomes the priority.
It’s either success or entertainment, or ideally both but it cannot be neither. Joseball and Nunoball only worked when we had results, there was no fun to fall back on, I find Conteball more interesting but it’s not Poch or Harry, it doesn’t stand on its own as fun, it still needs results.

The only relevant question regarding conte is ‘is there another manager available to us that would be getting the results Conte is with this squad?’
The answer is a resounding no
He’s getting results with 2/3 top level players let’s be honest, the rest are average and slightly above average, some are genuine clown shoes
We need to stick with him and give him the funds he needs to build his own squad whilst outing the shitbags like Sanchez, royal, Lloris (unfortunately) now
