Conte is a world class coach, which we didn't have till now. If it's not working, it's not because of him.
Like the last 3 guys wasn't working as well.
Conte just comes from Italy, where he won the title with Inter. Let's not forget Chelsea are yet to win the league, after he won it. Same for Inter as well. They failed badly last year, and they are going to fail even worst this one as well. So that speaks for his quality.

And Conte teams so far have been playing balanced football. Nothing to do with Mou ones.
Inter was highly attacking, and Chelsea in his first year as well. And they also scored a lot of goals.
We also scored quite a lot last season with him.

But just as i said in the summer, Conte can do so much to brings more of the average squad he had, and it's about time their form will go down, and they won't keep their level, cause they are not good enough, to be consistent through a long period of time.

It is okay if you try all options and none of them are good enough. In that instance you must realize that and compensate in some other areas.

Like maybe if you have 0 creativity from RWB position, then acknowledge that. Compensate in other ways. Like use 5-3-2 system with 1 creative midfielder who can help to actually move the ball around dangerously. Oh wait. He did not want that kind of player.

Conte knew what his RWB options were in summer and could have prepared for the scenario that none of them help us in creating chances. But he did not.

Only regarding the bolded part - in the summer we brought in 6 players.
Yet we play worse football. And that is alarming to me.

To avoid form going down, then do some fucking rotation.
But no, Son was utter shit and dragged us down to no end until he got injured. At some point both Kulu and Richie were sharper than him. But only 1 occasion saw both of them start.

Same goes with keeping PEH-Benta starting every game and often playing every minute, when more hard work should have gone into introducing and integrating Bissouma. You know, to rotate and keep players fresh.

So damn easy to blame the board for not signing Hakimi, Bastoni, Madisson, Brozovic and Bremer.
But the players on his hands are not used to their best. Others are just blatantly ignored. In combination of Spence, Gil and Sarr we have three highly talented guys that we paid 57 mil for. They have played combined of 102 minutes of football this season. Let that sink in.

I'll consider this a lesson you'll hopefully learn in the future, not today.

You can say what you will, but leave Kane out of it with good. Without him we would be 8th-10th in EPL at best. His goals have kept us afloat.
Lad has scored 12 goals for a side that occasionally start with 8 CBs.
Our attacking play is mostly hoofing the ball upfield and wait for a miracle.
 
I think everyone knows I've been critical of Conte, but there's no way he gets sacked in the season. Levy doesn't have the capital with the fans so sack another manager midseason, and frankly I think the team would quit if he did.

Whilst this is true, Conte could maximise what we do have to get the most out of his system.

And I don't think he's done that.

There is room for improvement, for Conte, with us.

Needs to be more savvy and less obstinate imvho.
