Manager Antonio Conte

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

To a large degree he will have to work with what’s already at the club.

Conte loves a 3-5-2 . Unless I am missing something I just can’t see that the personnel are their to work and have the discipline for his system
3-5-2 is a good fit for our first XI though, no?

Kane and Son up front suits both of them.
Reguilon suited to LWB, Emerson ok at RWB.
For back 3; Romero was centre of a back 3 at Atalanta, Tanganga at RCB is not a bad shout, while one of Dier/ Sanchez started anyway.

I hope Kane never plays for us again and I look forward to Conte scouting his replacement next summer

"Many praise Harry Kane for his ability to go get the ball and play with the team, such as with the equaliser against Denmark," said Conte during his work as a pundit during Euro 2020.

"Of course, he’s good at that too, but it’s in the box where he’s clinical and as a coach, I would always keep him in there because he’s devastating."

He loves him Sammy. Sorry but we're gonna see Harry leading the line for a while yet.

CHOO CHOO

You could even (and people will absolutely hate this) play Davies as a LCB where he's actually been very good in the past for Wales. I think we need a new #10 and better wing backs for 3-5-2, but otherwise pretty solid. Son and Kane suit a two striker partnership really well.

Hey, maybe he'll even convert one of Bergwijn/Lucas in to some reasonably serviceable wingback. And pigs can fly..

Rodon at LCB and I think thats a decent 5 for Conte to work with in his system. Midfield will have to be gutted though

Would be more 3511 because never stays up top anymore, do think Emerson and Reggie would suit the WB roles.

If he comes in, players like Winks will be absolutely shitting themselves. Just the guy to give these under-achieving pussies the kick up the arse they need.

I agree with this. Back 3 allows Romero to roam and pretend to be a striker if that’s his want. Reggie and Royale will much prefer it also.

Only 1 DM in a 3-5-2 though. Skipp or PEH?

Conte is in top 3 managers in the world. I don't want another project. I want a world class manager managing a world class team in the best stadium in the world. With the revenue the ground now makes we should be in top 5 rich list of clubs.

Yes. Only real losers are the wingers, Gil, Lucas and Bergwijn. Hopefully we keep Lucas as a sub to Son, he's given too much to the club. Skipp -Hojbjerg - Ndombele screams a Conte midfield as well.

I would prefer Dier or Sanchez or Rodon for the LCB slot compared to Davies. Davies was mediocre anyway, and now past it. Been awful this season in every game.

But yeah I broadly agree with you, 3-5-2 is quite solid for us. Think Bergwijn can be converted to a decent wingback, who knows.
