But..We all know how cynical Levy is. And it costs a lot less to hire then fire a world class manager than it costs to hire a world class squad.

Based on how Lo Celso plays for Argentina, I think he could be very good in that midfielder that arrives late in the box role that Conte loves. I think Ndombele is basically a nailed on starter - Conte wanted him at Inter before and he can play the role Pogba played for Conte and Juventus perfectly.
That assumes they are 100% committed to working under Conte, but I can't imagine a player that wants to have a career wouldn't. Conte isn't going to bench players for petty reasons, but if you aren't committed you won't play.
Like I said earlier, who knows with Conte. But he's one of the best 5 managers in the world so you just have to go with it.
I'll believe it when they officially announce it...

My hope is that Paratici and Conte put the pressure on together. I can see them both walking if Levy fucks them about.
United fans acting like it's not good enough if he wins the league a couple times but fucks off in 3 years. Woolwich fans probably are still talking about the Invincibles like people still give a shit considering that 4 of the last 5 champions have accumulated more points than that squad.
SAF and Wenger ain't walking through that door, fellas. Longest tenured coach in the Premier League is Sean Dyche at 9 years. After him it's Klopp. It's almost impossible to have a SAF or Wegner in modern football anymore.
At the very least, the long overdue clearout and rebuild gets done.
