Sorry are you counting preseason games against Chelsea and Woolwich as undefeated under Nuno?

With the exception of City, we never played well under Nuno with or without Kane.
I'm not trying to defend Nuno. He deserves to be sacked. But part of the reason why he should be sacked in my opinion was his inability to drop Kane when he needed to be dropped. And taking out Lucas last game? That was the end for me.

The difference was Nuno had Jiminez with Wolves

We were undefeated in 7 games under Nuno without Kane including games against City, Woolwich, Chelsea, Wolves.

As soon as Kane came back, we just collapsed.
Pre season friendlies don’t count, how many more times are you going to trot that non fact out?

Whinging about Kane again? Change the record, you’ve made the point countless times.

Its boring, make yr point once not 50000 times.

Lucas was playing like shit, this complaint is so bizarre to me, for THAT to be the final straw.

I like Lucas but he was giving the ball away all over the place in that game.

Lot of Jose cultists trying to bring the mood down here.

This club is buzzing. Your disgraceful negativity won’t impact that!

The reason why Lucas gives the ball away is because he's the only one trying to make something happen.

Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't

Would you rather see side and back passes all game?

Also, Son was losing the ball the entire game as well but he even had less success.

Remember, Lucas had that nice pass to Son. If Son had converted that, it could have been a completely different game.

Always worried him and Kane are too soft as leaders. The quiet sulking types who 'lead by example'.

Could explain why three changing rooms in a row have been lost.

Think we need to up our cunt quota in the squad massively. We have one in Romero, another in Tanganga and could do with a few more.

That doesn't describe Hugo..... Him and Kane are miles apart (see Amazon).

Remember him kicking off at Sonny?

I didn’t see Nuno as “a very good coach”.
I watched all his games and found it difficult to determine any clear strategy. I saw the players unmotivated, most of them just jogging around, usually out of position.
When we were losing, I saw Nuno standing on the touchline idly playing with his beard and looking unemotional and lost.

We didn't get the guy that had a good run at Wolves....

With hindsight; something wasn't quite right..... Unless one conceeds to theory that he was actually told he was a placeholder.

I mean whatever, Lucas for Bergwijn was a totally obvious, positive change at that moment.

One can disagree, but the immediate crowd freakout was weird.

Maybe I'm biased because I rate Lucas, much more than the average Spurs fan. But I thought he was the only one that had the ability to cause any sort of trouble against United. And he did have a couple very nice moments that game. The other players did absolutely nothing.

Lloris has it all, he'll fight with a player, talk to players, front up after losses with sensible words, always gets the mood right. Has backed every teammate and every manager, has never said or acted poorly towards his (our) Club.

+1

......Shame about the DUI stain on his record though. Exemplary otherwise.

We’ve identified targets, convinced ourselves their clubs will be vulnerable and desperate to sell, that’s not the way the football world works anymore and we’ll be quoted outrageous prices and stonewalled, we’ll begin sniffing around more attainable alternatives, and we’ll see if Conte blows his stack.

Who knows. Getcha popcorn ready.
We've spent over £30m net not including loans already last window which we have to pay in the Summer or whatever, also factoring in the cost of sacking NES, hiring Conte, the fucked up financial situation and the fact he's only going to get 3 months to have a look at them makes me sceptical about signings in January.

Also the fact that we've heard this stuff multiple times before. Think this season they're hoping for some spectacular turd polishing and a big new manager bounce...a cup run if they're lucky.

Maybe a forward on loan in January or Parrott back perhaps, maybe Kessie if he's running out of contract, but unsure tbh. Wouldn't get my hopes up.

Personally saw it as pointless..... Needed to change things up; not a like-for-like sub that would see Utd. just crack on as they had been.
That’s a fairer argument, but obviously that’s not the only change he can make.

In a game where we totally gave up, for that anodyne moment to be the flashpoint was curious.

Anyway, water under the bridge now. People will get mad about Conte’s football, but he won’t care.
