Manager Antonio Conte

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Fair enough mate, different views but both valid, thanks for explaining.

I’m hoping Conte just takes the I’m your coach and this is what you need to do approach, and that Dele then does it. It’s last chance for him at the club i think. He can still be a great player I think but he will have to apply himself.
I just think Dee simply needs to be told to do what he’s good at, which is energy and finishing. That’s it. He’s never been good at linking play, or build up. He needs to be told to make runs ahead of Kane and supply instinctive assists and finishes.

Yeah, totally. I have my fingers crossed. Honestly no idea how this will turn out, but agree with many that this is the squads last hiding place.

Hi, everyone.
I've been in a coma for 48 hours due to extreme depression etc
When I woke the nurse tried to cheer me up by saying that Conte was the new Spurs manager.
Honestly, they should have at least picked a more likely name to cheer me up !
I mean, what is the chance that he would come to us after all.
If they had said Howe or Parker, I might have started to believe them but CONTE !
Honestly they really should really should know better !
As if Conte would think about managing a team in the mighty Euro Conference Cup. You must be joking !
Thanks for your concern for me, I am feeling better now.

If we all followed your example in sucking up to ENIC, and refusing to criticise Levy under any circumstances Nuno would still be here.

You should be thoroughly embarrassed with yourself and thanking the thousands of voices on Saturday evening that made this appointment happen.

You don't deserve Antonio Conte

That ‘person’ is actually Airfixx Airfixx - and we’ll all know it, mate

The reason why Lucas gives the ball away is because he's the only one trying to make something happen.

Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't

Would you rather see side and back passes all game?

Also, Son was losing the ball the entire game as well but he even had less success.

Remember, Lucas had that nice pass to Son. If Son had converted that, it could have been a completely different game.
Son motm then, or we could be stuck with Nuno with Conte replacing Ole!

“I don’t want to turn this into a criticism of Daniel (Levy). Everybody has their ups and downs, their strengths and weaknesses, but Daniel is not an easy person to deal with. I said that when Jose (Mourinho) went there and I was at Marseille.

“There are a lot of things that have to be said frontally, face to face, each side with truthfulness. But sometimes they look like they don’t happen that way.

“Coaches have to be judged on their performance, I agree. We lost, miserably, two games that led to us agreeing terms for me to leave but he’s not the easiest person to deal with. But what is easy right now in football?

So that's a no then - lol

Interesting how all these ex manager and players all but confirm Levy is the slimmest of all - what an utter cunt

Here’s the rub: my work pay me car allowance and pay the fuel for my business miles. Therefore I can drive a fairly juicy motor (a poor man’s M3, incidentally, a 335i) and my loan repayments are covered by the car allowance whilst the fuel is covered by my work. I don’t do leasing as I can’t stomach having to give the car back after three years. If I wanted to buy a Tesla then I’d have to pay literally twice the up front cost I paid for my 335i on the used market (upwards of £30k) so my car allowance either wouldn’t cover the repayments or I’d have to pay the loan back over a long period of time (say, six years). Like with the petrol car, my work would pay for the electricity and this would save them a fortune compared to the fuel they pay me for. So why not incentivise me to switch to electric? Why not increase my monthly car allowance to offset the savings in fuel allowance they won’t be paying me if I were to switch? Businesses need to think more about how they pay workers for use of private vehicles and make it attractive to switch to electric.

I’m in a fortune position whereby fuel costs are irrelevant to me, but I want to switch to electric to enjoy a similarly (or even moreso) luxurious and fast car which harms the environment far less than my current vehicle. But as things stand if I did make the switch then my employer would save a lot of money but I would have to pay through the nose. Businesses need to do the numbers and encourage the switch to EV, not just governments.
And where does the energy come from to charge these thousands of electric cars.?

So Nuno in and Levy out then?

Personally I still wish we was Newcastle

:memeokay:

And if you absolutely want to know, I'm myself driving a Tesla and I get my juice from a 100% renewable hydro plant in Norway (who sell their majority of gas supplies to UK).
You should have been beating on me! Although I hardly drive 2 of my 3 and even the main one does sub 10k a year. It's not shitty mpg cars that are the problem, no one really drives them many miles. It's the 20k a year city cars that do it.

And where does the energy come from to charge these thousands of electric cars.?

Don't you start to. This is easy to research if you actually want to look into it. If you want you can install things called solar panels on your house and, when it gets light, you get electric. By the magic of things called "batteries" you can store that and use it at night if you so wish.
