Mason didn't have a chance to buy or sell so he can't be counted as a manager that didn't shift players, Jose apparently told Levy he could work with the current squad to reach whatever goals they had discussed. There was no transfer market opening for Nuno, he was appointed late in the summer.Doesn’t matter to me who’s choice it is.
It will be the 3rd manager in 2 years who can’t see that the likes Dele and Winks and Davies and Dier have no place in this squad anymore.
It’s Conte that walked out of talks in the summer over the difference on opinions in what be needed to make this work. He’s said it himself yesterday how much work there needs to be done and I doubt very much he means getting the cones out for Sanchez.
It’s nice that people will be ok with not signing anyone so Conte can work his miracles on this rabble of shit, but for me, for once we need to spend massively.
So since Poch who wasn't properly backed by Levy with transfers, Conte is taking over from Poch's notion and Levy has promised him a fairly large transfer budget in January with the outlook to also sell for additional funds.
