I don't know how to forecast the asset value of the club, but in terms of annual turnover, there is simply no path back to our 2018/19 level without massive expenditure on new player transfers. We're at the end of the line for LevyBall.

We have a manager with a winning method, but we have players who aren't good enough to execute it against quality opposition (and don't give me Liverpool with a backup midfield and no VVD).
Skipp is the only centre midfielder who is good enough for the first XI and that is borderline, he might be squad player level, but he has potential. Hojbjerg is backup at best. The rest are garbage.
Wingbacks, Reg is a squad player, Emerson may be (but to be honest, I'm not sure about that), there is nobody good enough to be starting wing-backs in Conte's system, they are not good enough going forward and in possession.
Centre backs, none of them are good enough to start and none of them are comfortable enough on the ball. Dier and Davies are backup level players, maybe Sanchez as a backup. Romero, we don't know what he's about yet. Tanganga just isn't good enough on the ball, I don't think he has it, but he's backup as a best case scenario.
The only quality is Lloris, Son and Kane. Son and Kane are both off form, but I give them the benefit of the doubt. I don't think we can get 8 players in 2 windows, but I think we are going to need 6 players in the next two windows, all for the first team. I thought this before Conte took charge of his first game and I still think the same.
Lloris, Son, Kane. Let's give Romero the benefit of the doubt maybe, Skipp too. That's 5 players, 6 signings to add to them. Davies, Dier, Sanchez, Hojbjerg, Reg, Emerson, Lucas become backup players, add Gil and a reserve goalkeeperand that's 20 players (new signings + retained players) for Conte to make something out of. The rest should be cleared out.

It's a bit shocking when a man that has been at the club for only a few months has shown more care for what the fans actually want than the man that has been here 20 years. I. E. a desire to take active steps to win a trophy.
