For as long as Kane and Son keep outperforming their xg which is at least anoter couple of years.
Seems like people can't get their head around the fact that Spurs play a different way to most other teams, bunch of stat merchants and amateur football analysts keep saying it but Spurs keep defying the odds and with Conte in charge its going to keep happening, people just need to get used to it.

Perhaps he's keen to talk publicly about his friend; but otherwise him being sat answering such questions is totally unnecessary and more than a bit insensitive.

They've worked together since 1994, when Ventrone was the new Juve fitness coach under Lippi and Conte was a scrappy 25-year-old Juve midfielder. If you know how much Conte rates effort and physical tenacity, you can guess how much of an influence Ventrone's had on him.

Bit of a contrast compared to last Saturday
Well, he did what most people expected in this thread and also in matchday threads.
And it worked. We won. And beginning of the game was best we've had for more than a month.
So all moving in the right direction.
I personally am happy he went with 3-5-2 + used Doherty instead of using Perisic and Sessegnon as fullbacks.
Talking of which, Doherty impressed in defensive side. That is fairly new phenomenon!
That last ditch tackle he made on Trossard in the second half was disive.

They're doing exactly what they're being drilled to do and coming away with wins.
There is a difference between playing badly and playing ugly.
Letting teams pass the ball in front of us until they get frustrated and make a mistake is not playing badly. It's controlling a game without the ball and using it when you have it. If our strikers were currently scoring more from the chances they're getting then everything would look a lot more rosey.
Getting twatted every week like Leicester, Forest, Wolves, Palace etc is playing badly.
