Contes demeanor is of a man who has given up. He knows there are no signings coming, so will walk away in the summer.

I was excited when we got him, and again when he guided us to 4th place. But the summer signings weren't good enough and some of our players have got worse.

No manager will succeed under Levy/Lewis.

In the long run, I agree.

But in short term - come the fuck on... we conceded first goal for what, 9 or 10 games in a row.
Game after game after game, he knowingly surrenders midfield... and for what ?!? to keep forcing Son to start, even he is totally worthless in every possible sense...

I`ve been saying this for months - he has no tools to make us really work over 90 minutes, and EVERY decent team will already finish us off before we even start trying. He is making poor decision after poor decision and should just fuck off right away!

I think Conte is in danger of seriously embarrassing himself over Spence. It seems obvious at this point there's some kind of 'wasn't my signing' pettiness over not playing him.

Just watch the next guy give him a chance and show what we were missing out on.
 
If he can’t get the players up for a match like this, coupled with his sniffy attitude towards us and his lack of contractural commitment, it may be time for him to go. He’s improving nothing.

Very different, Martinez is super aggressive in the air and wins a few contested headers per game, when he doesn't he puts good pressure on the opponent. And has very good positioning to avoid those issues most of the time. I wanted us to sign him for LCB in the summer, he's quality. Porro struggles to track diagonal balls, generally avoids contesting them, and struggles to put meaningful physical obstruction to opposition players attacking crosses. He wins a contested header something like once in every 2.15 games.

You’ve obviously seen more of Porro than I have so I can’t really say much more than we need someone who is a step up from Doh and Royal.

You bring a manger who specialises like he does... you give him his central components.

People are so desperate for Porro they want us to spend 40m up front on him. Far from clear hes the answer in a back 4, which we may well be going to next season if we don’t have Conte.

For all we know, could turn out Royal is good as a more conservative rightback (which I’m sure some people will howl at but it’s true).

We need a 5 year plan for the club where we build something. This is Paraticis job and he needs to do it.

As well as the perisic-son overlap.

Clearly the mood is not good within the team if perisic is that frustrated.
 
The ballsy move with real conviction to a project would be to renew Conte and give him some really good players this January.

Every manager building something has rough periods. Fergie was nearly relegated with UTD.

ENIC don’t have the balls or the conviction
