Not really, but there are very few players still here from then. Don’t think this is the win you wanted.

By this point, most of the key players have changed and gone
the chairman has gone
paratici has gone
lange wasn't here
mason has gone and the coaching staff is (I believe) totally different

unless steve dukes or allan dixon is the issue, it suggest that it's more of a culture issue made by matthew collecott and the tavistock crew.

Everything else people were blaming has changed

Well that was before our idiot players, and some even bigger idiot fans, were hypnotised by a cult leader into believing that finishing 17th in the league was totally fine as long as someone wins a trophy in their second season...

It’s hard not to trace a connection at this point. Especially as they admitted that they basically threw league games.

It is the second season we’re in this position. And we were lucky that Leicester only got 25 points last year.

Nobody said they threw games. That suggests an underhanded thing was happening.

What was happening was that we were playing a higher strength side in Europe than we were in the league. A far cry from throwing games.

Maybe half a dozen players were in the squad that day that still play for us today?

Were we not resting players intentionally? That’s what I meant anyway.

It seems like doing that might’ve created an atmosphere where losing is normal.
