It had nothing to do with underestimating them, the side that started were much better than them.

The problem was when it was clear that Alli, Bergwijn and Bale weren't up for the game he took way too long to take them off and then took off the wrong players at halftime.

If Lo Celso and Vinicius are there in the 2nd half we likely win this game easily. Instead our midfield has zero passing and Moura, Winks and Lamela have been forced to play the ball way too much wasting chance after chance.

He got the subs wrong. But these players have the quality to win this game. There's just been no application to do so tonight.
