I thought both looked v good as teenagers, and both had bad injuries and never recovered - weren’t PL players in the end

It’s a common example of two players that didn’t develop; arguably regressed so by ni means certain Gray develops

I've called it out already on here many times so not exactly sure what you're on about with the dancing around comment.

There's racial bias everywhere. When the media slated dele alli and Jude Bellingham for their apparent attitudes on the pitch yet tongue poked Rooney's arse for the exact same actions that's racial bias.

If Tel was a white English player we got for the exact same money there would be more of a defence for his performances. That's my belief.

Do you honestly think Tel has performed better than Gray. I don't think he has. Gray was thrown in the deep end last season playing in 3 or 4 positions. He did admirably and get's credit for that... Tel has scored a couple but generally looks miles off it. I can't speak for all Spurs fans but for many there is no racial bias here. We are starting to see some real potential with Gray and Tel looks pretty ordinary and frustrating. One thing I will give Tel a pass on is that he didn't decide his transfer fee. Some idiot thought spending 40m on him was a sound investment. We would be lucky to get 10m for him tomorrow.

I think Tel shouldn't have been signed and has been below average. I think Gray has been poor in midfield for the most part and average to below average at centre back. I think his performances as a centre back were ridiculously overrated.
I mean I remember when we got slumped by Liverpool at home and some media outlets were actually trying to praise Gray...we conceded 6.

Honestly our passing is shit, and Bentancur is selfish coward who only likes to pass backwards to the CBs, or to his buddy Porro. Gray is bypassed almost completely by our other players, who for some strange reason feel like they are too good to pass the ball to either Gray or Bergvall. It's really poor attacking ethics, and hurts our overall play greatly.

He definitely had a quiet opening 20 mins but came in to the game before Xavi's stupid challenge. Neither him or Bergvall were particularly involved on the ball, Bergvall was more central at the start of the game with Gray wider. Gray did alright defensively, made a lot of clearances.

You’re right, but to be fair to him, it’s not his fault. He shouldn’t be in this position.

Can you imagine him even being a back up midfielder for City, Woolwich, Chelsea, Liverpool, Newcastle, even Villa, United, the list goes on and on and on. Clubs we could and most certainly SHOULD be competing with. It’s just laughable to even fathom.
Yet, he’s starting in the Premier League for Tottenham. It’s absolutely scandalous.
 
Gray and Bergvall played well for us today. Xavi got an early red, Romero got another red, and the refs dicked us. I'm not even sure if you guys were watching the actual game based on your comments.
