I took pelters for saying a simple truth that the kid has been outstanding at CM in the CL, had really good games at CM in the prem as well, plus covers RB and CB to a good standard in the Prem.

Hes just shown it again after being very good at CB against tbe same team last year.

Still a kid. But hes showing impressive maturity and improving with minutes. Good start to 2026 for him. Hes improving.

Got more bite in him than I first realised. Very good technically. Think the last 2 games he's showed his tactical awareness and his positioning and showing for the ball has been spot on.

His physicality is improving. Was one time he was cruising away from a city player. Looked more confident today. Not sure what his position will end up being though.

Very good and extremely underrated on the ball. Played 2 brilliant long balls on his weaker foot to Xavi, and his close control is also great.

Good performance, playing him RB changed the game. His switch of play is where our first goal came from. He was able to get on the ball more after the position change.

Hopefully he continues to develop in midfield and doesn't just turn into a utility player at a young age.
