Player Archie Gray

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Even if he doesn't ever become the elite CM we're hoping he will, he's someone we should keep around the squad as long as we can.

He's put in really decent performances at both LB and RB this season, has an amazing attitude, seems like a lovely lad and is improving in the middle too. He's basically the dream squad player and at 19 he's only gonna get better.

I loved the aggression he had in the second half, played proper football.

His performances against City, we might look back on in a few years and say that was one of his first brilliant performances in the league, albeit second half.

I said in the Gallagher thread, but Gallagher will be a really good influence on Gray.

Potentially an excellent combination there.

Gallagher and Gray pivot in CM is decent

Kid has always had a great attitude on the pitch. Looks and sounds like a very nice, clever boy off it too. Still plenty room for improvement, but only 19 eh. Many, many players deserved the boot before the lad.

Everytime a thread get bumped I think it’s due to the player getting a four month injury.

Was expecting Gray to be out after farting and his arse falling off.

People will rightfully question the amount of money we shelled out for him at 18 years of age, however if he continues to progress at this level we could have a very solid CM/CDM on our hands for the next 10 years.

There's what, one, maybe two central midfielders in the Prem aged 20 or under that i'd say are currently ahead of him ?

He showed he had bollocks last season when he was dropped in the meat grinder as a make-shift CB.
Considering everything I thought acquitted himself really well last season at CB. One of the toughest positions to play as a kid

He just can’t seem get going in CM. Like the games a touch too fast

He seems to be doing great every place apart from where I want to see him excel

Still young. Got plenty of talent. Still hopeful
