Player Archie Gray

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

If we do get relegated, it's imperative that we keep hold of Bergvall, Gray, Moore and Vuskovic and build a team around them.
Get rid of the fancy Dans and build around the hard working young talent because they'll have the fight to get us straight back up, I honestly don't think the likes of Romero, VdV, Porro, Vic and Muani will want anything to do with us.
Bissouma and Bentancur will want out too, as will Dragusin, especially with his gob shite of an agent.
Spence will probably be off too.

I think Richy and Dom would probably stay, Gallagher too and as you say, Madders will and probably Kulu as he'll feel he owes us after this year.
I think big Kev would stay and maybe Udogie but not too sure about him.

It will have to be a full and proper rebuild, a totally committed clean sweep of the mentally weak players and build around the commited and determined youth talent we have.
Big Kev and Vuskovic could be a good pairing .

It’s constantly on my mind. Woke up and there it was in my head. Strange that last night I wasn’t nervous and sat calmly and watched it unfold. Have I accepted it? If nothing improves in next two games I would think they will get rid before the international break. First game after the break is Sunderland away on April 11th, a good
5 weeks away. Poss another couple back by then. That’s the start of the last 7 games.
Cannot imagine a Redknapp and Sherwood duo riding to the rescue (on Jukebox Man) but stranger things have happened. Isn’t Rafa Benitez currently unemployed.
I think I'm at the point where I'm prepared to leave it in the hands of the football gods, I don't think a manager change will make a jot of difference to the rot running through the squad and team.

We need to scrape though to the end, see where we finish then raze the whole lot to the ground and start again.
Our squad (and hierarchy) needs a massive and clinical cull.

If we do go down, it will be interesting to see who goes. There are obvious ones in Romero,Micky,Vic and Porro.
What a tosser Porro has turned into by the way.
I think Maddison will stay. I think he would enjoy leading us back up.
We really can not sell those younger players like Gray and Lucas . Mikey and Vuskovic will be coming back .
We will get some good offers for those younger players. Not sure our bosses have the guts to refuse them.
Not about refusing the offers. Those players will want out. Even Vuskovic. I could say Gray going on loan back to Leeds and Bergvall was subject of a bid from the Chavs in Jan so imagine they will come back at around 50-60m. I think Madders could stay but I could also see him going back to Coventry where it began for him. Ultimately, any player with potential on more than 30k we will be happy to help them move. That's what relegation means. If as reported the players contracts have a relegation clause then I am sure they will be equally keen to move.

Our squad next season

GK - Kinsky, Austin + 1 experienced GK like Jason Steele from Brighton
RB - We will need to bring in a couple maybe one on loan from PL like Max Aarons who is on loan at Rangers
CB - Phillips, Takai, Davies, Dorrington
LB - Souza + we will need to bring in one who can't get a game for his PL team
CM - Devine, Olusesi, Kyerematen, Cassanova +2 experienced CM who will get stuck in
AM - Luca + maybe Maddison or if not we will need an experienced playmaker
Wide - Moore, Soloman, Yang, Odobert
FW - Scarlett, Lankshear, Melia, Wilson

Manager Change would make a difference Tudor was a poor fit. Hopefully we somehow survive no matter who is in charge.

Vuskovic is gone gone lol. Why would he stay? Bergvall is gone too. Maddison might stay because no one else will give him a contract worth anywhere near what we're giving him, even with the relegation clause.

Ultimately every top talent we have will leave. We will only be able to keep those we legit can't sell due to wages and those not good enough for other PL teams. We have no dedicated, loyal players.

We'll have to recruit much, much better than previously. That's the only solution.

Ps: if/when we go down, Vuskovic is never ever playing for us in the Champo...I mean, get real.

To be honest, even if we stay up, I can't see him wanting to be here.

When you have Barcelona and Bayern circling you, especially in our predicament, its clear.

He should have been a regular for us this season, thats the most frustrating part.

Archie is a very good kid. He tries hard each and every game and I'll always respect him for that.
Youre right.

Great play on the assist for Solankes goal, very tidy on the ball and can execute a nice pass. Hes going to be good for us in the championship next season.

Oh so you didn't mean any of this..

Nothing against the lad, but I've seen thousands of kids with more talent & potential than him. He really is nothing special.

40 mil.

FORTY MILLION POUNDS.

Nice kid, has the odd good moment. But he's so not that top young talent with plenty potential some still think he is. Nowhere near. You see 20 kids in the Champo week in week out that are much better than Archie.

He's a very, very average player.

Until the next time he makes a mistake presumably?

He's earned enough credit in the bank to make a million more mistakes this season. The only player that can truthfully hold his up after this season. He might not be the best, but I'd have 11 Archie Gray's over 11 Micky's.
💯 - but I can guarantee you that certain posters will turn on the kid in a flash when he makes his next mistake.

I think we all realise hes very young and will make mistakes like any footballer. The unfortunate reality is that we are in a very precarious situation, so any player that makes a critical mistake will receive more than deserved criticism.

Should Gray have been put in this situation so consistently and played in various positions? Definitely not and its an indictment on the board, and the injury crisis.

Personally, Gray is showing the most energy and willingness to make things happen so hes going to be the last player I criticise at the moment.

Been guilty of it myself I'm sure. But over the last few months you work out who actually gives a fuck, and he contributes. Same reason I'm less prone to giving Richi shit, because unlike the other tits up top, he doesn't stop. I've even softened on Tel, who I've been very harsh about, because, God love him, he isn't good, but he starts for me because he feckin tries.
