I remember being in The Clock End trying to stay quiet...until we scored then realised Spurs were actually outnumbering the Goons!
We usually did in the North Bank as well.

It would help, because a lot of ST holders don't go to all the matches. Some don't even go to most matches - they just put their ticket on the exchange (at full adult price) which then reduces the pool available to normal members, and heavily restricts the number of concessions available.
It's really more about getting the balance of ST holders vs Members and ensuring that the next generation can come to matches.
The other issue, and I guess the elephant in the room, is the number of day-trippers we see in the stands. I think that would drop quite a bit when Son leaves.
The thing is, it is a very simple thing for the club to stop. Buy some tickets from those sites. Revoke the season tickets. Tell everyone what has happened. It will stop immediately. So start of the season I was able to get 2 tickets together for the Everton, Brentford and Ipswich games. Since then I can’t get close to 2 seats together through official means.
I can though go on these alternative ticketing sites and get 2 seats together at a much increased rate.
Games gone, pure greed with fans pricing out fellow fans for a quick buck. Despicable cunts
I hadn’t thought of that, but yes it’s definitely a possibility.I have begun to wonder whether we are seeing the result of bots from the secondary ticketing markets sweeping up tickets.
The queue thing does irritate me somewhat. You never know when to join it, or what's going to happen.I hadn’t thought of that, but yes it’s definitely a possibility.
For a start why don’t they just reset the queue at exactly 10:00? It may not solve that particular issue, but it would give everyone an equal chance.
It's been that way for years in there. Shithole of a pub too.Well the local pubs aren't exactly helping on costs...at No8 (Bell &Hare to most) a pint of ale £9:50 ffs.

I’ve never heard of it. Where is it?

I certainly was. Can’t say I got close to any of the action though but remember being aware of it. If memory serves I remember seeing the old bill making a bee line towards it then suddenly slowing down as they got close.
I was also at the away game at The Den the previous Boxing Day. That was fun. Didn’t see much on the way in, other than some “Spurs fans prepare to die” graffiti around New Cross Stn. Bit different afterwards with running battles near the station and plenty of bottles flying around.
One thing was for sure, there certainly weren’t any half and half scarves around that day.
Me and my brother were at the Boxing Day 1977 game. Mental day.
That was proper hard-core.

Happens for all fans. Pretty sure if you get a membership today, you'll be offered a ST next season - obviously depends on the churn. What about Season Tickets, absolutely massive waiting list. Do celebrities get preferential treatment here. On Talksport the other day some guy who was a member of Pulp said he became a Spurs fan by accident, not a lifelong fan. One minute he was 40,000+ on the waiting list soon after he was offered a season ticket. Wonder if other celeb fans have been as lucky or did they have to wait.

It’s mad people still go in there at that price for a beer. Trouble is, if they didn’t it would go under.
