Top 5, which I think is unlikely, will only be possible if Muani and Solanke find fitness and one hopes the accompanying form.

If not,it's top 8 possibly at best.

That is also presuming all things remain equal after the winter transfer window.

Villa home
Everton away
Chelsea home
United home

We'll know a lot more before the next international break, that's for sure.

Got to get that home form going, crowd to play their part to.
 
I think whilst Liverpool & Arse will no doubt scrap it out for 1st & 2nd... Throw Man City in for 3rd...
...and I reckon OUR rivals for 4th/5th is gonna be a straight shoot out with Chelsea annoyingly!

Crystal Palace, possibly Newcastle and probably Man Utd knowing them will scrap it out for 6-8th but maybe Bournemouth will hang in there and run them close!!!

You probably won't be too far wrong with that .

And I agree, I think it will be Chelsea and us fighting for 4th

We have to beat them this time at home next month, one of the biggest games of the season for me.

We don't have to beat Chelsea to get 4th which is just not likely regardless.

We are still well short, and some people are getting well ahead of themselves.

I thonk City are absolutely in the mix for the title, but this season might just see i injuries playing a bigger part than ever before.

I see us alongside Newcsstle. They are stronger in some areas than us and largely have home form that we can only dream of,but they also lack striking options. Palace will do well to maintain their form.

Filth club are ahead of both us and Newcastle despite being behind us at present,in my opinion.

Let's see how good Villa are when we play them. I thought they had imploded somewhat but 3 good wins have followed so maybe not.
 
Starting to think that City might be winning the title, think they will scrape results this side of Xmas and then at some point in the second half of the season go on a long winning run.

The scum and Liverpool for the next 2 positions.

I don’t see us finishing lower than 7th, 5th probably the ceiling this year

Villa have scored 6 goals, take the Fulham game out, they've scored 3 goals in 6 games.

I'd expect us to beat them.

Anyway I disagree, I think we'll get better as the season wears on under Frank and key players return.

We've already proved we can grind results out which is a massive advantage to doing well over a long hard season

With our attacking players returning and more familiarity developed on the training ground we could do very well this season.

Plus I really rate Frank's all round managerial ability.

They will improve but I'm not sure enough to finish above Pool and Arse.

Top 3 in order:
Pool, Arse, City

Next 3:
Any of Spurs, Chelsea, Bmouth

7th:
Newcastle

We're actually really fortunate that Marinakis stupidly blew up Forest- they were set to be a serious rival to us this season under Nuno. And Villa taking a shit as well- always glad to see your opponents making mistakes.

If the club heirarchy get a legit LW this winter like Semenyo, Leao or ?? I could see us going on an absolute tear and pushing for 3rd. There is so much to play for, for us right now. It's exciting!
