Away support in Home section

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Last season at the Man United home game a couple of lads, guessing early 20's, were taking photos of one another in the stadium (block 106) about 20 mins before kick off. They had jackets on but removed them for the purpose of the photo to display their United shirts. I went over to them and politely reminded them this was home supporters only and it might be in their interest to keep it zipped, both mouths and jackets, for the duration to avoid any trouble.

As it turned out I don't suppose they had much reason to pipe up. Well not after the first 10 seconds anyway

:eriksenlol:

Another reason to hopefully bin wembley off as soon as possible.

I do admit it's bloody hard to keep quiet, I remember at Everton giving myself away when spurs scored a few years ago, I quickly shut up...lucky for me the fans around me were ok......and Everton equalised!

But it can turn ugly and I remember a couple of QPR getting a right slap outside the park lane, they had been in the park lane upper, were not mouthy but QPR got a goal back and they made themselves known......I was just behind them leaving and I didn't even see who sparked them, but one went down with a messy nose...

While I agree with the top two quotes in principle I have to admit I managed to make it to Utd away in the home section and I celebrated and even sang along at times.

Tbf, if I'd got grief I'd of accepted it. I was massively suprised I didn't get any real trouble at all.

Stewards at OT must be crap as well I didn't get warned to be quiet or anything.

Meh, I'm 33 , not in the bet of health although not in a physically obvious way, and am willing to accept what comes.

A couple of the people in the group I was actually sat with are pretty heavy though and possibly well known. Probably a massive reason tbf.
It's different when you're Tottenham. Then, it's justified. :)

The liverpool game was beyond ridiculous. There were more liverpool fans in my block than spurs. Openly celebrating and then turning round and taking the piss (me and my mate seemed to be the only spurs in there trying to make a noise). I am never going back to Wembley under any circumstance.

I was in the home end at the Bernabeau but we were polite and chatted to the locals. Not having any respect is not on.
Funny thing is I haven't seen any of these away fans in home areas at any of the Wembley games mentioned. I don't deny it, they just must not be in my bit. The one I remember is Wisla Krakow at home at WHL. In that one they were everywhere and plenty of fights broke out.

The other weird thing about the Barca game (apologies if already mentioned, I haven't read the whole thread) is that there were lots of spaces in the actual away end.

I don’t think the majority of the Barca ‘fans’ in the home end were from Spain or match going regulars

Kicking them out would have another advantage. You could seize their ticket, track the idiot who sold it to them through the membership number and deal with them too.
I'll save you the bother of at least one of them who does it on here, ain't that right I8AVB I8AVB ?!!? How many of your rented ST's did you renew for the new Stadium buy the way? Looking to sell those on to the tourists just so you can continue to line your pockets, contribute to higher ticket prices and fuck up the atmosphere in the process.

Best agg I’ve seen in the modern era with away fans in home end was with the Scum late 90,s at the Lane.

They scored and a few jumped up in the East Lower corner near Park Lane, I was in the Park Lane, obviously they started getting filled in. Plod then rescued them then attempted to lead them away back up to the back of the section, the walkways then filled up with fellas attacking them again. Plod then tried to come back and nick Spurs fellas, which then resulted in more fighting lol

Not plods finest hour lol

Was at the Madrid game early last year and a load of Madrid fans walked into the upper tier in all their colours, shirts, scarves the lot.
I lost it and stewards got some supervisor over. They took the Madrid fans away probably to another area. If they’d have celebrated god knows what would have happened.

When the turnstyle opened Wednesday at least 10% queuing were barca, some in colours, some incognito.

Can’t wait to get back to the lane.

I'm not sure all the ones in the away end were either, in all honesty. I'd imagine a fair few members of overseas fan clubs in there. Barca and Real are well known for their shit support, especially relative to their size.

I've been to practically all the games at Wembley over the last three seasons and I can't remember anyone else not selling out their allocation. Only one that could have was Rochdale (I had tickets but couldn't get to the match due to the weather) - any one here able to confirm what their turnout was like?

Saw a guy in an Egypt Salah shirt and Egyptian flag draped over him strolling around in the home end vs Liverpool this season. Think he escaped a shoeing as the shirt was partly covered up and the majority of fighty spurs fans probably couldn't identify an Egypt national flag. Pissed me off though. English football is all about tribalism. Opposition fans mixing it witj home fans with impunity is sanitised bullshit

When you say "incognito"... did you mean either of these...?

The Italians was the worst when chiellini and the boys came to town

Saw one spud having to be held back at the end. Few juve mans giving it large. Least the Barca lot kept their mouth shut mainly.
Fairly sure I was sat next to one but couldn’t say for sure as he kept his gob shut. Fair play

Don’t know what I was thinking but back in 2012 a mate of mine in brum whos a glory hunting man united scum roped me into
Villa united at villa Park in the home section. Idiot only went celebrating didn’t he. Almost got sparked and would have let em have him tbh
