Vicario
Porro Danso VdeV Spence
Bergy Bentancur Madds
Kulu Son Oderberg

If this is the ideal team, then we are only waiting for V de V,.
But where would Gray fit in ?

Regardless of fine-tuning the starting XI ; it’s stating the bleeding obvious to point out if we don’t comfortably dispatch AZA over 2 legs
( with the second game at home ) ;
then things are even worse than we previously thought.

Whilst there are “ no easy games “ ; we should get into the next round fairly easily. Surely.

When our CB's are back there is no spot for Gray. Maybe 4th choice FB and 5th choice CB.

Ange might start to give him some late minutes in midfield but he'd be 3rd choice DM and 3rd or 4th choice CM at the moment. Unless Ange decides he is done with Bissouma back there.

Gray has been fantastic filling every position in the back four but midfield is his spot and next season we should see his best with a full pre season playing there.

ws should, and with a manager & coaching team that thinks about how to play we would
But with this guy everyone knows how he plays AND how to beat him

Last year when we had a week between games it was “too long between games” lol

This time it’s “too many games”.

Choose a lane, Ange
Reminds me a bit of "we'll see what Ange is made of when it comes to the Europa".

Think we've got a pretty clear idea now of what Ange is made of... no question we'd look better with higher quality players, but it doesn't mean his managerial and coaching style are suddenly going to change.

I went to the sleep inducing group match and they were pretty poor. Maybe they were just playing within themselves that day because I watched them away at galatasaray in their last game and they were a completely different team.

We should easily roll them over but it might take the two legs.

You know his managerial and coaching style WILL NOT change

In most of Europe the KO slots are 6.45pm/9pm local time, and there's plenty of fans who prefer the 6.45pm out of those options. It's only us, Ireland, Portugal, the Faroe Islands and Iceland who are on the earlier timezone. They're already accommodating us - it'd probably be something like 6.15pm/8.30pm, or 5.15pm our time, if not for our TV market. Especially because the later slot is really bad for Eastern Europe with 11pm local time kickoffs there.
