Yes I can!

The reason why we don't see 10+ goals every game in Football is because the odds are stacked way in favour of the defender.

As a defender, I don't even need to win the ball. All I need to do is stop the other player getting a clean strike on it. The 2nd goal is bread and butter defending - ball in the box from a low cross. He allowed Diaz - who must weight about 8stone soaking wet, to push in front of him and get the ball. An inexcusable goal that you wouldn't even expect a relegation team to concede.
Romero was marking the liverpool player. Porro decided to push in on same player.
The player behind needs to communicate as he can see more of whats going on

I've just watched Klopp's post-match interview on MOTD2 and realised that, throughout the entire segment, in my mind I was punching him hard, repeatedly, in the face. He's that kind of fella, isn't he? Or do I need to seek help?

I must admit to gaining guilty pleasure from imagining the blood gushing from his nose.

Romero is utter garbage. At fault for ALL goals.

1st Goal - No communication with Porro. Both marking the same man whilst goal scorer unmarked.
2nd Goal - Made no effort to attack the ball or block the players run
3rd Goal - Needless penalty
4th Goal - Completely asleep and ball watching. Should have ready the path of the pass

We seem the have the Argentinian David Luiz.

On the second and third he was very poor but 1st and 4th are nothing to do with him. Porro and Lucas have to take most of the responsibility for those two.

Angry that we didn’t turn up for 20 mins, that Jota didn’t get a clear overwhelming red card, that Richarlison didn’t get a pen.

However we played good football, probably deserved to win and only the clear problems with certain players (you know who) stood out. If we can upgrade our CB’s and a few other places we might be good going forward.

Still amazes me we as a club have allowed such shit negative football for 4-5 seasons. We call Jose a dinosaur but Levy and Cullen deserve that tag even more so, ignorant fools.

I’d have to wonder what was going on in Mason’s head at a critical time in the match when he decides to field a player who is as far from match fit as it’s possible to get. Lucas should not have been on the pitch.

Reckon we'll get an apology from the Refs association today or tomorrow....?

We'll be WAITING!!!!!!
Guarantee that Dermot will say that neither of the major Liverpool incidents met the threshold, but Skippy was a lucky boy to not be sent off.

It was easily a yellow at least; but these cunts all going on about it seem to be forgetting the VVD one earlier this year.

Kulu 1on1 with Kane free to square for tap in.
Son just a defender on the line to beat.
3x Woodwork struck.
Penalty on Richarlison, not given.
Red card for Jota, not given.

We were really unlucky.

Also seen that Klopp was commenting on our tactics regarding counter attacking. Why does he feel the need to mention our tactics after every game?

Fuck he riles me the ugly tosser, hope his Hamstring has snapped.

I've never tended to get that upset over bad refereeing decisions. They're part and parcel of the sport. Sometimes they go in our favour (as was the case against Brighton), sometimes they go against us like they did yesterday. When we lose, I'm generally more concerned with what we did or didn't do to create that outcome. Here's the list:

- we gave Liverpool a 3 goal start
- we wasted chances to score more goals
- we brought on a player who was clearly no longer fit to play for the club

I believe further action from the FA is in order for Jota's challenge but will leave that in the hands of the club as they are more qualified to deal with it.

He was given a yellow so I doubt the FA can really overturn that.

Moura is done. Clearly not match fit, off at the end of the season and cost us four points in two games from poor decisions.

What benefit is there to playing him?

I reckon We could like half decent with a new defence and GK and Bisouma and Bentacaur back fit ,
New GK and defence is the ultimate priority.

Big Frase is an able deputy but if we wanna challenge for top 4, we need better quality.
GK: newbie - Frase - Austin/Alfie/new Academy lad

From our current crop of 'defenders', I'm only saving Emerson, Romero & Big Ben...and that's not me saying any of them is a guaranteed starter next season. Porro is no defender, but see what happens with a new coach and proper CBs. That Udogie kid very much feels like the left-footed equivalent to Porro. See what happens with Spence too. The rest can be binned, they're trash. So that's 2 new CB for sure, likely a third...ideally a guy who could play CB & FB well on either side but especially the left in case Udogie struggles at the back.
RCB: Romero - Emerson
CCB: newbie - newbie
LCB: newbie - Davies
RB/RWB: Porro - Spence - Emerson
LB/LWB: Udogie - Davies - newbie

In the middle, yes...we're desperate for Roddy to come back from his injury, hoping he gets back to his best. I wanna see what a new, modern, forward-thinking coach can do with Bissouma. The lad was unbelievable at Brighton...could win the ball back, carry it up the pitch, dribble, pass, shoot. We can get decent creativity out of them two...but will still need a quality new signing (or two?) cause they won't be back for months. Skippy can still do a job, though he'll never be a Gerrard or Scholes. Others can do one.

CM: Bentancur - Bissouma - Skipp - newbie(s) - Devine/Sarr (one goes out on loan)

Up front, it all depends on what Harry decides eh? But I'm hoping he stays...which would mean Levy's finally listened and we're gonna do the right thing in the transfer market. Sonny stays and finds his best form again. Kulu and Richy...well, I'm not sure at all to be honest. Which is why I'm keeping Danjuma and Gil...them two have skills and they've always showed they wanted it.

Starters: Sonny - Kane - Danjuma
Backups: Gil - Richy (or newbie if he goes) - Kulu (or newbie if he don't get signed)

Just gotta make sure we keep an eye on our HG situation too.

Losing 3-2,with the 90 minutes up thought it was a good call to add a bit of pace down the wings - though neither influenced the game until moura gifted them a winner

I’d also say the one on hoj was a pen

TAA pushes him from behind making zero attempt to play the ball and knocks him off balance when he’s lining up a header at goal
