I saw a picture of GB when he was a kid, with his Southampton top on.
Looked such an innocent kid, his ears were pretty bad. I genuinely feel sorry for him now, and it must have affected his self-esteem. Seeing the picture from the above link, trying to emulate Ronaldo, actually fills me with sympathy, rather than hate.
Such a shame the way RM have worked him over, I hope it falls through or end up really fucking them over financially and acquiring players of the required quality.

I think people are reading a wee bit to much into this trying to be Ronaldo thing.
The way he dresses, his hair ect, its just trendy. When willian ignored the sky cunts in that hotel, he was dressed in a similar way. same with his hair. its the same hair that saint david of beckham (apparently leading the voting for Sky TV's beckham of the Year contest) currently sports. (well, for the next 15 minutes anyway)
