Why on earth would we take £70M rather than £86 over a couple years.
Because we can get a 15-20M player in the deal, and can spend that money in January or next summer.
You really think Bale should go and all we get right now is 20M?
Im failing to see what announcement there is to make if we reject both offers.
Lazy journalism
Weirdly I awoke this morning with a strange sense of belief that he wasn't leaving. And will score a hatrick at the emirates

always got the feeling tho, that Ronaldo really really needs to feel like daddies special little boy. Not having the world record fee may well put his nose out of joint, especially as most of his headlines in his time in spain have been overshowed by Messi's acxhievementsI think people are overstating Ronaldo's displeasure at the signing, of it happens. From all I've ever heard, he's not as arrogant as he makes out on the pitch and is in fact a fairly nice bloke. He's still a better player than bale, and no priciest will change that. He'll likely still ear more too. The only people I can see who wouldn't like the move are the likes of Di Maria, as well as those who would earn less than him.
Im not suggesting Ozil will happen, but the sentence:Ozil won't happen if anyone it'll be Coentrao who would be a great addition
