10 years, excellent pro, good human being, reliable performer. I'll never hear a bad word said about Davies bit it is time for him to move on this summer. Or if he does stay, it's not because we haven't signed a player to perform the roles he has been needed for.

I think lcb in a back 3 has always been his best position. I didn't think much of him at left back for Spurs then watched a few Wales games in a back 3 and he was like a completely different player.
One of the good guys, he deserves all the accolades coming his way.

Free transfer, he can go and a make a few quid somewhere. He’s a model pro, I can see him moving into a coaching role quite easily.
He got his UEFA A License earlier this year. So he has definitely given himself the option of going immediately into coaching once his career winds down.
We already have Mason and Defoe with the youth team. Davies can fit in.
Mason hasn't worked on the youth side for a while. At least since Ange came in and he became a assistant. And Defoe left a few weeks ago to try and get a first team job.
So there's room for Ben.
He's just 31, he still has years left, whether here or at another club.
